…. You just must make something for yourself. Sometimes you must stop all that you are doing and get away to a calm place and allow the spirit of creation to flow into your being. Sometimes you must allow the glass to “speak” to you and you must have the courage to listen. In the next few posts, this is exactly what I did in making these marbles. Now, I want to hear from you – like them?

Lookie - I did the letter "E" lol

I'm not sure how many colors were in the little bits and chunks of cullet and marble pieces - I did take a lot of care not to cover the "good stuff!" Today I torched with football shaped and oblong shaped marbles trying to make them round. They are in my kiln cooling slowly as I type!

6 or 7 little pieces od marbles were placed into this one marble - like it?

I took around 6 Jabo dented, halves and pieces of Jabo glass marbles and made this one out of the "junk." Like it?

I saw the exhibit in Arizona - beautiful!

It seems that I'll melt about anything doesn't it...lol. I just placed the cullet pieces in my kiln, heated them up and just reached in and rounded the cullet not paying attention to what I was pulling out at the time. Yes, I should pay more attention but I am hurting from the work the skin doctor did to the back of my hand + a root canal!
