Whoa! My first thought was Vacor but none of the many other comments had a whisper of that. I could see coral now, but are there no visible cutlines?

Normal player size, correct? The colors and striation in the middle are making me think of Heaton though I have 4 distinct vanes on mine but you appear to have more than four vanes, so that's wishful thinking. On larger marbles, the colors on the outside would point to the Masters which were jobbered by Alox. Even on the small, I'm thinking hard about Master on the left. The right is feeling more Euro.

I am not aware of a Master cage style so I will go with Asian on the outside, Vitro in the middle.

Making Rolley Hole marbles this year

Such pretty stone. Interesting bit of strategy insight there. Make your marble harder to see on the dirt. -
The colors are right for Anacortes but I don't remember a non-cage version from Anacortes. And in spite of the five vanes, I don't remember those colors as the something from the 1950's. So I will stick my pin somewhere in the middle range.

This is a 1950's version.

This is a Peltier Rainbo. There were a lot of Vitros in the top opening post. All vintage.

Looked at our backyard thermometer and saw it was down to 20 degrees already at 6 p.m. That's when I remembered I hadn't properly winterized my growbag strawberries yet. I had moved them into the garage but had them by a window and wasn't ready to do whatever you're supposed to do to insulate them against freezing temps. So now I have strawberries in my attic. I hope they like it there.

Excited. This is going to make a special display. Got a variety of marbles and materials here. Will have to type up notes to accompany. Yes, I want to go to Rolley Hole sometime! In March I will be making my first out-of-state trip in many years. I'm looking forward to doing more. Rolley Hole is on the list. Not a lot of light left in the day, but I couldn't wait to take a picture. Came out pretty nice. -

Nice piece of the puzzle!

Hi. I think not mostly Christensen. Not saying there's none but none jumped out at me yet. I am seeing a lot of West Virginia swirls, some Peltiers, and one slag ... so far.

Yeah, we had snow in October and then we went back to warmish weather. Was in the 60's a week ago. But I did see some frosty ground one morning this past week and tomorrow night it's supposed to be 20 degrees. Gonna play tennis tomorrow at noon. Temp prediction is 38.

I have a lutz onionskin he made, but mine would be a late-era marble. It is from 2013.

I would have guessed Asian, and Asian marbles were imported to Europe. So that's probably still my guess. It doesn't look Japanese, but I'm wondering if it could be a Hong Kong marble. Without remembering any details of what I saw, I remember that I had the _impression_ that the early Hong Kong marbles could be somewhat amorphous. *open to education on this one*

Scott's friend Martin posted this in Scott's memorial thread. I figured I should ask about it in the general chat. Does anyone have any information about the Kingly Line? Pictures of it? Knowledge of who owns any? Thanks.

I have a stack of boxes saying "sort and shred". This ad is why the boxes don't simply say "shred after such-and-so date". Last night I went through boxes from 2009 to 2011. 99.5% of the paper went into the shredder and is now on the way to use as bedding for puppies, but .5% needed rescuing.

Welcome! It's a great hobby and even better that you can share it with family.
