  1. Don't know the size on these. But they're called Peewees. Well, "Pewees".
  2. When I was 12, I got some clearies of many sizes. I'm pretty sure the source was Champ's Bicentennial bag but not positive -- Santa put them in my stocking and so I didn't see the packaging. But the year was right for them to be the Bicentennial bag. Sooooo ... as we know, the Bicentennial bags contained marbles from many makers. And the peewees have been said to be Alleys. Is that still the ID status on those peewees? The question came to mind today when I came across this muslin bag pic I'd saved long ago. I looked the bag up online today and found that it was filled with peewee clearies. Source: https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/2547749_418-champion-agate-sampler-bag So when would Champ have acquired those peewees for this bag or for the Bicentennial bags? Of course Alley closed long before 1976.
  3. Billed as a Champion Agate Sampler Source: Lloyd Ralston auction
  4. Great info, guys! Just for clarification -- the ones on the right in this picture were thought to be Ravenswood. Are they also now thought to be Alley? (They're not exactly coral.)
  5. Someone ... was it Smitty? ... was it Brian? ... had a Master sample case which included Cloudys/Cloudies ... I thought I had a photo. Not finding it now. Anyone have a copy?
  6. But is it "Cloudys" or "Cloudies"? Advertisement said "Cloudys". What did boxes say? I _think_ I've seen the label on boxes ..... hmmmm
  7. Cloudies vs. Meteors: Cloudies on the left, Meteors on the right http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o151/modularforms/Master/MasterFlyer1b.jpg~original
  8. It's sounding like the Champs might get pushed into the Alley column. Ann, did you see any like the Ravenswoods in the book? I guess I could look myself. About the CAC .... ?????
  9. Here's an encore from Page 3. But I think I may be done with the gift-type boxes:
  10. Yes, yes, the damage. That was my first panicked thought when I saw your title, but then I got distracted thinking about the "surprises" you'll find later.
  11. What colors do you count? To be candid, I only see four. Orange, red, green, yellow.
  12. I'll guess the big one has value no matter what. But just a guess. Now I'll step back and listen.
  13. I once destroyed a couch to find a missing marble. Now I'm just wondering what we'll find under the entertainment center when we move in a few months.
