  1. Oooooooh. I don't know what the current word is on Parrots. Used to be that they had to be 4-colors and a certain large size. Some people allow small marbles into the family now. Maybe three colors are okay too. But it's just a name, isn't it. This marble stands on its merits!
  2. I'm not sure that one is even vintage. Doesn't look MFC to me. But it's busy. And someone might think they're getting a "brick". Who knows? *scratching head*
  3. 7/8" is pretty darn big for a Master Sunburst with that much color in it -- maybe that drove the price? And maybe some people thinking it could be a Sparkler helped. Whatever it is, that's big.
  4. Kokoken posted the definitive picture of the guinea-making process. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
  5. Yes to MarbleAlan's old forum. And welcome back! Been seeing some of your sweet mibs over at Land of Marbles.
  6. Mini terriyaki-ginger bagel burgers
  7. Hoody, it's definitely an Akro. It used to say "mint" which was so incredibly wrong .......... But I don't see the "mint" anymore.
  8. LOL. You got me! Will you be able to bring yourself to eat them?
  9. How uncommon is the net within the net?
  10. I never saw the tie and scarf so close up. That's a wonderful piece. Thanks for showing us.
  11. Let's finish out the year with Christmas colors. Deck the halls ....
  12. f & j yes. Can't feel it on 5. Would like one.
  13. Not exactly the same but has the one-inch blue and white clearies: https://www.etsy.com/listing/151524478/vintage-game-tri-tac-toe-3d-tic-tac-toe Copyright 1973.
  14. Thanks guys. Sorry for being lazy before I asked. I was mostly interested in size and didn't think I would find that, so I tossed the rest of the questions up there as an afterthought. Here's a first run pic from one of the threads Mike mentioned: In one of the other threads, Rick mentions shooter size marbles in his first run set but says they could just be fillers -- bananas -- not filamented. So ... about 2000 marbles in the first run and about 5000 marbles in the second run? So, there aren't many available to find "in the wild". (I saw a large-sized marble somewhere which made me think of these 1st and 2nd runs ... but I didn't know if it was worth mentioning these runs as a possibility ... afraid to confuse the matter. And now I see odds would suggest that was a good decision.)
  15. A coupla days ago I thought about making green bean casserole. I didn't grow up with it and no one currently in my life makes it. Just tried it a couple of times. But pretty sure I want some.
  16. What size(s) were the Peltier Second Run marbles? How many were made? What does "Second Run" mean?
  17. P.s., it's a musical episode. I didn't remember that Love Boat did a musical.
