  1. Yes, the diaper folds are a single seam marble and Peltier can sometimes have two seams that are so close together that they might resemble a single seam to the untrained eye. Glad to hear that you can make out two seams on your mib. You are well on your way to learning Peltier construction. Hope this helps.
  2. I am seeing Peltier as well on the red and blue mib. Another view would not change my mind on this mib. The red and blue mib Chordus is showing is hard to tell.
  3. I too am a fan of Pollock. The large messed up Anacortes Hybrids so remind me of him. I'm usually not a big cat fan myself until I lay eyes on a nice hybrid Vitro.
  4. That vaseline is outstanding. Hey is that a Texas license plate I see on that truck? lol
  5. Oct. 17th is just around the corner. You'd better hurry if you want to go.
  6. Great lookin' Ace, Paul. Edna, #43 is jaw-dropping to say the least!! WOWZERS!!
  7. He sets up and makes marbles at this show: Village Art in the Park Leavenworth, Washington The 2010 season will begin April 30th, May 1st, and 2nd and continue weekends through October 17. Hope this helps.
  8. Edna is full of surprises when she shows her marble collection, but did you know that she is also the President of the Texas Marble Collectors Club? Yep! Full of surprises she is! Can't wait to see you at the show Edna!
  9. Looking at those whales she hails from Walller just goes to show that everything IS bigger in the Lone Star State!! lol Thank you Edna for making me drool once again!! Thanks everyone for those beautiful boulders. Please keep 'em coming.
  10. I know they're out there somewhere. The biggest and baddest corkscrews known to man. Size does matter! Show us what you're holdin' and make believers out of us all. Don't be shy cuz we wanna see 'em! I will start this off with this 7/8 spiraling four color beauty, found recently at an antiques show in Texas. Everything is BIGGER in Texas don'y ya'll know!
  11. Thanks you guys! I don't know if I'll ever be able to part with this bad boy. I am curious to know, however, what it might fetch on today's mkt. The orange band has to be the best part (in my eyes) since it virtually explodes all over the surface on the one end.
  12. Those are over the top Bill! I think the WV swirls are going to take several more years for me to get straight. Looks like the milky base might be a clue in this case. Thank you.
  13. Well, there it is. I would have guessed Champion on yours Bill.
  14. I'll be there, with bells on, don't worry Edna. I can't wait actually. As far as the two-week show, which is held twice a year, I was drowned in preparation and was running out of time to even think of such things, and I'm sorry I didn't call you. I still can't believe that I beat Willie to this mib since he is usually all over this show from day one! At least he had a very good excuse for being late. Thanks everyone!
  15. This mib was bought at the Round Top Antiques Fair last week. I see Popeye colors and I've heard that the wispy white to clear ratio can vary tremendously in Popeye's. Hope you can see the clear areas as well as I can in hand. The last picture was taken outdoors. Colors are Orange, red, green, and blue. Size is 7/8.
  16. I've always wanted to do that myself. I wonder which company might be the best suited to provide letters? My Alley flames seem to be teaming with letters. Akro corks can only get you...it will come to me...I see a possible J at the pole. lol The n into a Z was the first thing I thought of too. It reminds me of the nyquil commercial. Rich, you have got waaay too much time on your hands, you lucky (jolly) fella. Splattman has the best S that I've ever seen. You have a great start is what I'm seeing from here. I'll see if I can spare any if you need to buy a vowel. lol
  17. Forgot to say thank you to Sue. Thank you Sue for all your time.
  18. Ditto what Derrick said! Isn't it fair to assume it is time to delegate some kind of additional moderator power in Lou's absence? Steph and Dave being able to temporarily pull the plug when things get waaaay out of hand seems logical to me. PS Derrick, they do make a .46! lol
