  1. Are you sure you don't have some little elves helping with those? I think they are really nice!!
  2. Something like that! lol Here is a zoom on some of those Buttermilks.
  3. These were just a few odd balls he had laying around since I had my camera with me. Check out the blue on that handmade! The lutz is amazing!! Hey, don't forget to check out Willie's fantastic Buttermilks I added to the 'Vitro Buttermilks' thread. Totally awesome!!
  4. Just thought it was time to put in a plug for Willie. This man is one of the best collectors and ID-ers out there. Anyway here are a few of his Vitro's. He had these displayed at the last Texas Marble show and won first place!! I need to show them in four different posts to get all of them. Remember these were all in one giant case!
  5. Just a few of Willie's Master Sunbursts. He has over a thousand of them I think!! WOWZERS!!!! It is his absolute FAVORITE marble!
  6. How about some Buttermilks! These are all mostly shooters 3/4 and over. I see a few smaller ones in there. These are Willie's mibs! ENJOY!!
  7. Happy Birthday Orbboy!! And Many More!!
  8. I don't think it is Vacor Steph. I'll try to get closer shots of the poles for you.
  9. Yes, it is a hand cut dyed agate. I got it for 35 bucks. It is 3/4 and wet mint. I couldn't resist!
  10. I scored these Saturday while in Oklahoma City doing an antiques show. It has been over a year for me too Galen! But oh what a feeling! Anyone know who made the orange based one with the yel and light blue ribbons? The Rebel is 11/16 and all the MCS (Rebles and Liberties?) are only 9/16 and a little bigger. I'll put 'em in the Id section when I get time. Hey Willie, I think the biggun' might be a real Orange Master at last!! It is an inch.
  11. Here is a nice collection of Master Sunbursts. Average size is 11/16ths.
  12. Hey guys and gals, my marble scores have been almost non-existent lately it seems. Oh well, there is always hope on the horizon as they say, but I just wanted to pop in and say hello since I've been so busy doing other things. I hate to be away for so long at Lou's (my favorite place!!) and hopefully one of you is scoring all the marbles. But you know me, it is just a matter of time before I find a nice big jar or two of some real winners. The Texas marble show (near Austin) is coming up soon and I am sure to find something of interest before then. The 2010 spring show is May 1st with room trading starting April 28th. Boy, that doesn't give me much time so everyone say a big prayer for me. I need one! Thanks!! Please visit http://www.texasmarblecollectors.com if you want the details. Miss you guys, Speed Racer
  13. Better luck next time! Thanks to all!!
  14. Thanks Gene! I took a better pic, outside this time. Can you see the very thin ox-looking line contrasting against the white?
  15. Thanks Steph! Speed Racer is more up my alley, so to speak. I never slow down my mom always says. Marbles are my new Peltro. I mean petro! lol
  16. That's okay Speed Racer. Hey Steph, do you think Lou would mind much if I changed my user name to Speed Racer? (just askin') Pretty please? Sue, thanks, it's been an interesting past six months, but I'll try to check in more now that things are starting to settle a little. Miss you guys! One more question about the Akro, if I may. Since it is oxen, is the yellow considered egg yolk? I'm reachin' here, ain't I? lol
  17. Thanks! I dunno, I forgot to ask if anyone else thought that was ox in the third pic contrasting with the white. It shows up as a very thin line outlining the red area. See it? Now you can move it back Steph. (kidding of course)
  18. At a little over an inch, I thought I'd share this one. I think I see a little oxblood in there as well. Got some pocket wear tho.
