  1. Thank you Bubba and thanks Steph!! They are really beautiful, especially in hand. My pix just do not show it very well but a few do have the contrasting yellow separate from the orange as you describe. In fact, the color ranges are so unique that no two are alike and when they are grouped into one pile, and you can see all the different hues, especially in the orange, they really are impressive. I normally do not collect the MK's, but these have opened my eyes. Happy New Year everyone! ~R
  2. Well, perhaps just Tigers? I received these recently and wondered if any qualified as Bengal Tigers. Also, what's up with those three tri-colored looking hybrids? Do they have a name? Merry Christmas to all and Happy Holidays!!
  3. Thanks, I'm all dressed up and nowhere to go. I've got my prettiest shooter in my pocket! Wait...now the phone is ringing off the hook. Anything goes? lol Thanks again everyone!! Don't wait up for me!! XOXOXOXO PS I don't feel 51! Roger
  4. I've never met him either but I too have only heard nice things about him. He is in our prayers. Roger
  5. Antique Tiffany favrille showing off very skillful metallics.

  7. A spotless Loepard, but yes.
  8. Super cork! What a super cork!
  9. I know buddy and thanks Derrick, I think I will. Even if it isn't a Guinea type such as my collector friend informed me, but a swirl as you suggested, it is a keeper.
  10. Forget it Derrick! I've got tons of those memories, and they're all not the misty-water-colored types. lol
  11. I stopped counting those flame tips at well over three dozen........dizzy......need to stop looking.....
  12. Who would have thought all of this went into the mibs we know and love today? I always thought about the physical labor and simply didn't really think about the love and friendships that might have existed between the workers on an everyday basis. Now my mibs have even more meaning to me. Thank you Edna!! What a great picture of Weldon you got there as well!! Wish I could have been there!!!! Roger
  13. My Alox mesh bag has some cats mixed in it too. Here are some pix that I wish to share. I found this bag at a garage sale recently. Gave them $20 for it. Thanks for all your recent help with this bag for me Steph!
  14. Wow Edna, you are gonna win an award for best in show with this Vitro thread! Here are a few of mine but I need time to get my others together. And then here is a big group shot I took of Willie's. (Last Picture) Talk about a top shelf collection of Vitro's. He's got 'em.
  15. You actually opened a bag? Pried open a staple? E-Gads!! That's cool since we needed to see them. lol I'm just not sure if I'm seein' Master there or Akro. What do you think you're seein' Steph since you have them in hand. Thanks!! ...Opened a bag!!... You're just too cool for school!!
  16. Neat mib, is it an Alley? Looks like one but with rare color combo.
  17. Nice ones Rick! What is that? Rootbeer? That is a rare color. Here are some of my Masters with the brown thingy going on in most of them. Don't mind the other mibs on the tray! LOL
  18. I agree, you do not see it very often. Here is a one inch MK tri-color with some brown in with the red on one end. There is aventurine in the green also on this one. Enjoy!!
  19. Stephanie, please send me your addy and I'll send you an onion. A real nice one! Thanks for all your devotion here at Lou's!! Regards, Roger
  20. Yes Bob, it looks like Tiffany Favrille on that metallic! WOWEEEEE!!! And m!b$ yours aren't anything less than amazing as well!! In fact eveyone is looking good. Thanks, let's see some more!!
  21. Being a major Pelthead, and believe me I got it real bad, I thought it high time to show some nice Peerless Patches here at Lou's. Please join me with some of your own pix as I pay tribute to some real eye candy. Thanks everyone!! I'll start things off with these four blue/purple/gray examples.
  22. Did someone say Joseph's Coats? To me, they need to have lots of colors to the point of not being confused with ordinary but colorful onionskins. Here are a few examples in which there is absolutely no question as to the true ID. The largest is almost 1.25" and most are in blue base glass. Enjoy!! There is a large blue mica in there too, sorry!
  23. As you can see from this picture of Alan's mib, there are separate red ribbons. And, as you can see from one of my own, which I call a Superboy, there are no separate red ribbons. Very funny there Galen!! But I thought you used to be a Pelt collector? LOL
