  1. My blocked bidder list consists of only eight people, and three of them are the fake gutta percha vendors, two others are the same a-hole with different accounts, another deliberately ruined my feedback by leaving a negative after she (apparently) expected a refund without returning the marbles, the other two I can't even remember who they are.
  2. No, I'm not saying that. I (usually) leave proper feedback, and I get blocked. Just want people to be aware that there are (probably lots) of sellers who will do that. Never seems to occur to them that there could possibly be anything wrong with the way they sell, or ship, or ID, or anything else. So just block the buyer, and problem solved. Prominent sellers, too, who do that.
  3. Leave proper feedback, and some people will block you. It's as simple as that. Sometimes you don't even have to leave proper feedback. Just send them an email that sounds a little critical, and they'll block you. But if you don't want to buy from that seller again, by all means, leave proper feedback.
  4. Actually, I think it's one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jabo-Marbles-Collectable-W-V-M-C-C-Marble-4-26-11-/110929648085?pt=Marbles&hash=item19d3ec19d5
  5. Some people block buyers for the slightest thing, including justified criticism... so, if you think you might want to buy from that seller again, give that some thought.
  6. I have one that looks alot like that, that I bought from Marblealan a few years ago, and he called it an MK translucent Ruby Bee.
  7. Somebody ought to let Ebay know how much money they lost.
  8. I hope your future son-in-law and family will get through this OK. Kind of scary the incompetence of some in the medical profession.
  9. Actually, he's probably not a crackpot at all. I just assumed that he never sold anything because his prices are so outrageous and his stuff is mostly so nondescript, and I keep seeing it over and over again, month after month. He's a smart businessman (I guess), since he knows how to make money. Most of the time, he probably stays within legal limits and doesn't do anything blatantly dishonest. Still...
  10. He didn't have them listed under Marbles: Bread Crumb Link Collectibles > Animation Art & Characters > Animation Characters > Betty Boop > Other
  11. OMG!!! I don't think I would give five bucks for all those lots. ************* Not that one or two aren't worth more than that... ********** It's funny how you can't view the item on most of those sold items. I would like to see what this one looked like. Maybe one buyer in a hundred (like this buyer) leaves a clue as to what kind of seller it is. Photos do NOT show hidden damage.
  12. You know, it's not even worth doing a search for marbles on Ebay anymore.
  13. Yeah, let's all jump on this one. He's "not a marble expert by any means" but he knows this is a "rare one of a kind" item worth $225. http://www.ebay.com/...=item415b817b33 This is another one of those people who I once let know they had misidentified one of their items, but was told in no uncertain terms that I was wrong because someone else had told them something different. &^***ing idiots.
  14. How many months/years do they have to have them listed with no bids/buyers before they finally realize there's something wrong with their pricing. http://www.ebay.com/sch/Marbles-/771/i.html?item=280708086579&pt=Marbles&hash=item415b817b33&_ssn=14383ray (sorry, not in a good mood)
  15. Such prices those went for!!! He made over $550 on just those three marbles (if I did my math correctly.)

  17. I'm not sure what you mean. I took pictures of both marbles together in the same picture, not separately. I can see that yours is definitely a Blueberryade. But there are some areas of my marble that look green like a Limeade. It's only the wispy parts that look bluer.
  18. Here it is next to a Limeade Oxblood. It does look a little bluer, but I'm wondering if it isn't caused by bluishness in the wispy white.
  19. Happy B-day, Lou!!! Thanks for continuing to have this forum!
  20. Lemonade Oxblood, Limeade Oxblood, Blueberryade Oxblood...or...? http://www.ebay.com/itm/221067228729?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
  21. Maybe Bobby is one of those Ebay sellers who was policed on the Marble Connection.
