Oh I do understand what you are saying al. My context is if marble A has typical patterns and sells for X, selling it off ebay for 15% less works for both parties. Like the Superman is on ebay I want 190 but has a higher price with a BIN/BO there or 160.00 off of ebay. it,at least to me, does not have any OMG pattern appearance to think it would go for considerably more. Most of the marbles will go there though as people want to save a buck and I have no issue with that but when a marble sells for 50.00 consistently and they want to pay 20 off site, I really cannot see doing that. This is no dash for cash for me and were they MY marbles, it would be different. People who deal with me know I give away more crap than I could possibly sell. I have a buyer on the spider man and the Christmas tree, we agreed on a price and I added some of MY personal marbles to it because I know he likes pelt and can;t toss out a ton of cash. So giving him some crazy MCS marbles I have makes him happy, me happy and takes any sting out of the purchase Ty for the company name. It appears back in 2003 there was a dealer on the west coast at a show that had boxes of these for sale. She said she would try to find the receipt for me,but i will look into your information as well as I think these would be great for storage and display

It's just an Alley I have it in the blah pile to go in a lot. It is bland the blue you see is nearly all there is. I have several of these in my common alley Jar She just put marbles from boxes into the holders and went for what she thought was pretty

Alley usually is more sporadic but champion usually has a lot more swirl,but I would go with champion between the 2 choices. I was just checking images now as you posted lol

Black glass was Soda-Lime+ Silica+Carbon. was still green glass with factors added to it so light would not penetrate it. Charcoal glasses usus a similar compound whos name I forget, Boro-something

I tend to do this for ebay on "better" marbles. Per promote and sell there. I would rather take a 100.00 marble and sell it here for 85.00. I mean, I pay nearly 15% in fees there. Saves them money and I lose nothing.

Blue swirly is a pastel colored popeye, brown one is actually deep mustard with metallic bands The one Clyde asked after is some odd-ball looking mix of Wire pull and spiral. It looks ravens,but it is odd to say the least. Also found what looks like a leighton that is Champagne. It has several small hit marks though

I am helping a lady move marbles. Her husband collected them and passed away. She is selling off the collection as no one in her family wants them and she can offset her financial issues with the marbles. That said, here are the images from the 1st lot she has sent Post if you need better images,grades,etc on specific marbles. There really is no such thing as black glass. The "black" marbles are usually Red,blue,green base with mixtures in the glass to make them black. Purple is the most common as it is so dense it can even repel light and on a shiny surface, will not emit a purple hue,but pure black There are no black marbles Per images, if you are using your cellular phone, go into your image settings and adjust the image to 3megs in size and they will be 1512x1084 (Gike or take)
