  1. So, I was at a thrift store and found this beautiful Peltier NLR Golden Rebel 😋 volleyball. My caliper is way too small to measure this one Merry Christmas Everyone!
  2. @Shamrock Marbles I checked the YouTube and quite a few enameling glass videos. After watching a few of the techniques, it makes total sense. There are only a few ways to get the result on the marbles that I have and the videos each have a slightly different technique. Thanks for the info! rockgardenplants
  3. Marbles on auction block There are some decent marbles listed... A lavender melted pontil Navarre Transitional is in the mix, too. I think that's what the marble is called. If it needs to be corrected let me know. Peace, orange_orbital
  4. There is no glowing on any of these mibs under a black light.
  5. Wow... This one is really neat! There are 5 colors. 19/32" Thanks! rockgardenplants
  6. "Is the decoration on your marbles only on the surface, or is the color incorporated into the body of the marble?" Beautiful outside and beautiful inside. Yes, there are color patterns on the inside. The marble in the middle of both photos has much of the surface area chipped away.
  7. I remember quite sometime ago a discussion on these Vitros. Are these nicknamed "Bubble Gum"? They measure about 3/4".
  8. Anyone know which manufacturer made this amazing marble? Let me know, please! Thanks! rockgardenplants
  9. I have several of these. It's taken quite awhile to put these five together. Lemme know! Thanks!
  10. The smaller one (19/32") is a 4 color Rainbo. The larger one (21/32") has 4 colors also. Does the larger one have a nickname? Would it be considered an NLR? Possibly a Vitro? Thanks for any help! rockgardenplants
  11. I'm about to sell this gorgeous contemporary and I'd like to know whose initials these are: (last photo) MH or MHD or MDH with 2008 below the initials. If anyone can help pout, that would be great! Kind Regards, rockgardenplants
  12. Would this be an Alley due to the white filament swirl and the bits of "oven brick"? It has a regular "9" (seen easily in the 2nd photo).
  13. @wvrons What characteristics of the marble show Champion?
  14. @wvrons That is truly interesting info on the making of handmades, especially that children were making them! Kind Regards, James
  15. I'm thinking Cairo due to the "Z" pattern in the 5th photo. There is a "Z" pattern, just not fully visible in the photo. What do you think? Kind Regards, <(^..^)>
  16. Hey All, I like vintage machine mades and BIG contemporary marbles and anything catches my eye. One thing on my bucket list is to go to a marble show! Argh! How long can this last? 🙄
  17. Here's a sampling of the 25/32" marbles that is in the title of this thread. No two are alike. Whaddya think? <(^..^)>
  18. Oh, the good ol' magic marker marbles... I remember when those came "out of the ground" while preparing for the Atlanta Olympics 😄 I'll take a few photos and upload them. Thanks!
  19. Still a 'maybe'... The Vacor Wicked Owls don't have nearly as many internal swirls. I'm just guessing 🤨
