  1. Look like JABOs to me too.
  2. Looks like an MFC slag here.
  3. CharlieT said the same thing I was thinking. Built like an older Michaelangelo.
  4. Ravenswood used batch glass in the first years, then Ravenswood closed down for a few years. It was re-opened and used cullet pretty much exclusively from that point on.
  5. Alley and RW both made these. Some are very hard to tell which one made them. Your top 7 look like RW to me from the one image Josh. Bottom left is Alley I believe.

    Thoughts?

Cool marble, I agree with MK.
  7. Yep, St. Mary's Alley, hard to find.
  8. Red Raven for sure. Nice find!
  9. Yes I think early Vitro for those and late Akro (mid to late 40s) for the middle one.
  10. I think Vitro, Akro, and Vitro.
  11. Pelt. Nice pattern!
  12. I spotted one CAC, at least one Sistersville Alley, a Heaton Blueberry grape... not bad for under $5.
  13. I want to see more/closer views of the bottom one. It looks like Pelt glass.
  14. I wouldn't give more than $5 for all shown. Someone else might, but only for that one Vitro. Stick with it for a bit, it will begin to click in time. Marbles ain't easy, not for the faint of heart. But it is rewarding when you start to get it and it begins to fall in place. There's no shortcut for study and familiarization (time). Go to a marble show and talk to other collectors and ask questions. People here are willing to help, ask questions that will give you answers that propel you forward. Check out the archived posts on the marble sites and get all the info you can. Eventually it will start clicking a bit at a time.
