    1 inch

    Alley, St. Mary's.
  2. Give it time and you'll be surprised how they multiply. Wait till you're storing them in 5 gallon buckets and plastic totes lol.
  3. Alley and Champion made the bulk of the old swirls in that size IMO. I agree with Alley on this.
  4. The first is a Phantom Conqueror, the others are just conquerors. Do you see the difference? The strands or "blooming matrix" in the white. The white has filaments on and in the clear. That makes it a phantom conqueror. The regular conqueror will be more like a sheet of white on the surface like the others posted.
  5. Top Left I'm unsure of. Really wide ribbon for Heaton but I can see why you said that. It's possible, what size? Top Right you nailed Lower left does look a lot like Raenswood but I think it's Pennsboro Alley. Unless that's a deep very clear transparent cobalt blue. Bottom Right is Alley.
  6. Aw foot, I just realized this is Thursday not Wednesday. Days are running together to me and I spent the day thinking it was Wednesday.
  7. The stages of rot in Heaton Robin Eggs from good ones to Rotten Robins LOL
  8. I think the first is Heaton. Last possibly.
  9. Heaton made loads with Oxblood horsehair for sure. The 11/16" size is a stretch for Heaton though, but possible. 21/32" was about the biggest their normal production ever was. Some few oddball larger ones came off the rollers but usually with cold rolls and other problems. It does look like Heaton could be the maker though.
  10. My best "pairs of Heatons" display. Some of these are the only two I found. I have some that only one were found, so those are in a different case. I think all the named types are shown in these pics though except the razzle dazzle. Some of these have oxblood, some are loaded with aventurine, and some with both!
  11. You're on the right track with foreign akroorka, Wales Pincher. A nicer quality one. Some are nicer and they also seem to be the bigger ones (as shown here) and I think older than the usual ones.
  12. Thank you! Been working with a new camera for a couple months and finally getting some juice out of it.
  13. Thanks, that's rare Cairo Neon cullet and marble. I dug it at Cairo earlier this year. It does look like it glows but doesn't.
  14. Yeah that's one of mine. I don't know of any Cairos close to the ones being discussed either. I'd say 95% of the lavender-purple and white swirls you'll see will be Alley. Maybe more. Alley used purple at Sistersville, Pennsboro, and St. Mary's. Here are a couple photos of some purples from Cairo. Note the simple plain swirl, no fancy stuff. Cairos don't swirl around as much as Alleys in general.
  15. I don't know of any Heatons with this color combo. Not that there couldn't be. These Alleys are prolific and range in size from peewee to shooter and larger. The base can range from having lots to little clear, white, tan, grey, mixtures of those, some green or blue, etc...
  16. All. The base on these can vary a lot. In color and in transparency.
