  1. Oh yeah, didn't even notice it until you pointed it out haha. I don't think I have any others like it.

    New Akro

Their listings said they made them, but who knows really. I just bought them because I liked their look and they cost very little.

    New Akro

Old topic, but I was bored and have been taking pics of some of my marbles. Here are the new akro handmades I bought awhile ago.
  4. Pawn masters strikes again! On their listing: They're not marble graders, apparently they aren't human beings with functioning eyes either.
  5. This one: http://www.smithsonianchannel.com/shows/apocalypse-the-second-world-war/694 Really interesting. I started watching some Hitler and Nazi stuff on Netflix, really fascinating and terrifying/disgusting all at the same time and I've gone through about 3 other documentaries, all Hitler/Nazi/WWII related. I never knew I was so interested in WW2 history.
  6. Apocalypse: World War II on Netflix. I have been on a WWII documentary binge lately.

    New Akro

I heard about them, I have some of them. They are handmade.
  8. If somebody offered me a million dollars I wouldn't say no. No matter what marble.
  9. Thanks for responses guys, mine was a serious question and I sometimes wonder what I will do with my collection as well. I didn't mean to insult anybody with my original response, I am just confused by the drama. I will leave this topic now before it gets too crazy.
  10. This is pretty off topic, but something I wondered about long time collectors. What's the end game here? If you reach like you say, over 50,000 dollars in marbles purchased, what do you plan to do with them? Are you planning on selling them before you kick the bucket? Pass them down to your kids or grandkids? You wanna be buried with them? lol. If you do plan on passing them down to your kids/grandkids, are you hoping they keep them? Would you have a problem with them posting them all up on Ebay for the extra moolah? I should have probably made a new topic about this, but meh. Just something I always wondered about. This question isn't necessarily just for lstmmrbls, any long time collectors can chime in.
  11. I got into marbles because of Jabo and continue to enjoy D.A.S. marbles as well. I'm not familiar with the folks who are leaving the hobby because of these marbles, but I know of at least a few who started because of these marbles. I'm not sure if I'd be considered a new generation of marble collectors, I'm fairly young, so maybe I am. I've noticed most of the people on these forums are older than me. From previous topics certain people make it a point to leave comments on marbles they have no interest in and/or don't like, just repeating the same thing over and over, which is weird to me. Marbles are supposed to be fun, they're not suppose to be serious, thats just my feeling though.
  12. I remember carrying all my marbles in my pants pocket in school.
  13. Yeah I'd be too worried about eating melted glass.

  15. Firkin. Sounds like something I'd say if I stubbed my toe on something.
  16. I picked Japan as the winner after the second run. It just seemed way faster than the other marbles. That was really cool.
