I worked doing plastic injection and blow molding for 11 years. The sprue can tell a lot about what's going on. I could go on and on but I won't bore you guys.
Bullet mold line that goes all the way around. The spot that looks like a pontil is where the sprue was broken off. It's a cool looking marble. I'm thinking it's probably Czech.
I ran across this on ebay and picked it up for $3.00 it looks to be a double ingate and I will not have it in hand until I get home from work. Hope it's not a rubber ball! Lol
I ran across this post trying to educate myself after observing two distinctly different aventurescience inclusions in a marble. The link is a good read so I thought I would Share. Especially section D.
Chrome-bearing fuchsite (a variety of muscovitemica) is the classic inclusion

This one is 23/32" it has a Master like structure with wispy white. The transparent green has larger pieces of dark green aventurine and also loaded with fine mica. Any ideas?

A mixture of one part boiled linseed oil, one part spar varnish and two parts paint thinner will soak deep into the wood and seal it well. After its dry add another heavy coat.
Kenitic sand
50 lbs sand
6 cups corn starch
1/8 cup dish soap
Water
You can add a couple table spoons bleach to kill mold and bacteria.
