  1. A little Akro for this "Slags and Swirls Saturday"
  2. 4 inches of rain today, water was shootin up through a couple storm drains, made it through w/o a power outage. 28 deg. weather on the way for Tuesday - Thursday, the landscape is definitely gonna change bny next weekend.
  3. This may be an alternative to Ebay for ya !! LINK :: https://biblefreak.org/Marbles/store/
  4. The frosted looking ones have probably been through a rock tumbler. If you want to see what's inside the sulphides or any of the handmades you have, try submerging them in a glass of water and taking a look @ them while submerged. P.S. Please don't try to polish any marbles in a rock tumbler . They'll have a good chance of hitting one another causing further fractures or completely demolishing them, and you'll be stuck w/ that frosty non see through surface that'll require another professional polishing to remove anyway. Hre is a link to the only person left I know that "might" polish your marbles, his name is Mathew, he has several vids you can watch before ya try and contact him. "Good Luck James"" LINK :: https://www.youtube.com/c/MarbleGems Email ::
  5. "Welcome to Marble Connection Don" Well, not seeing any Akro or Peltier, almost if not all Jabo IMO. Others more acquainted w/ the type will chime in. Many years of combined marble and marble related knowledge here, if you have a specific query you'd like to pursue there is a search bar in the upper right hand corner. Also tons of info and pix in "Stephs Study Hall" and in our archives, again "Welcome"
  6. "Good Morning" More pix after the hard rain and freeze, some trees are changing and some dropping leaves. For the most part still looks like August. Oh, and the first business they're putting in ? Another "Taco bell" I guess the Olive garden and Sonic will be next summer ??
  7. I feel you pain Adam, been on disability a while now because of chronic back problems, good to see ya back hope the back gets better.
  8. I just watched the weather for the coming week, this channel is about the most accurate weather. Fri. night to Sunday morn over 3 inches of train followed by a hard freeze Tuesday night. Straight from Fall to Winter in a week, looks like a sad wild mushroom season this year, not going to be doing any Steelhead fishing either till it warms a little. Two weeks ago it was in the mid to upper 80's
  9. Rain finally, maybe a freeze next week, I'll take some new pix tomorrow
  10. Blue Jewel is a transparent NLR by definition, sorry you don't have access to the link, that's strange ?? Can't you just tap or click on it ?? It should work as any other link ??
  11. OP is a Pelt Rainbo IMO ; AAM Jewel ID LINK :: https://www.allaboutmarbles.com/viewtopic.php?t=39942

    CAC Slag?

Not a layered sand, not an electric slag ; OP is still a nice example of a CA slag
  14. Yes they are both Pelt NLR Zebras, some would consider the one on the right a bronze
  15. The darker brown the base the higher the value, your OP is a lighter colored "Chocolate Cow" the base can vary quite a bit as long as it's brown w/o a red cast. Maybe Sami @machinemades will chime in on the subject ?? I sold mine a few years back for $400.00 and it had a super dark brown base. David's OP is a Chocolate cow, @ least on my monitor it shows as a brown base w/o a red cast. There are some dark & light ones for you to take a look @ on this link.
