  1. Thank you Ron !! I knew about the UV reaction being a necessary marker but I wasn't sure on the av content ??
  2. Jabo made tons of oxblood marbles, many different runs of them. I'm not sure of the I.D. on your OP pic, I'm not seeing any ox though ?? A couple of my favorite Jabos. Many contain av and oxblood, they made some very beautiful marbles. Oxblood Oxblood & Aventurine
  3. Are those Andirons ?? Did ya find em in the fireplace ?? "Diggin" you lucky dog !!
  4. Definitely Oxblood, MFC Brick, some may say a "white brick" IMO, very nice marble
  5. Wow !! Guess it depends on which opinion ya go by ?? I was goin by the majority, I know a couple people w/ fizzes and they glow like crazy and they never mentioned av. I'm as lost as you after reading your post !! Maybe @cheese will pop by ??
  6. Nice to see ya posting again Gladys, hope everything goin ok, Beautiful mibs, & as always your pix are outstanding
  7. If the base reacts to UV it's a green fizz, if not a rainbo w/ av IMO, the base uv reaction in a green fizz is a qualifier as far as I know. I'm still trying to see the sparkle of av. ?? I have it on my 32" monitor and see the darker green you're talking about but no sparkle, that or any dark green colorant that might be present ??
  8. I'm exited for you Brother !! Be careful, watch out for covered wells (or uncovered) me and my bottle buddy ran into a couple "unfilled" and hard to spot until we were right on top of em.
  9. Yes, it appears burnt to me, I think the green tinge you're seeing in the dark ribbons is from the overlapping of colors not actually green.
  10. Peltier Burnt Spiderman IMO, what a killer !!
  11. Never noticed that pic there before Jeremy, nice eye, only a few people are calling it that from what I can gather, thanks for diggin it certainly looks the same. There are several inaccurately I.D. mibs on that site unfortunately :: they kept adding pix after known collectors w/ know and named marbles donated their pix, I know it can really add to the confusion !! I just posted a big orange and creamy white I call a creamsicle. Really mine's just a big rainbo, kinda like a "pet" name I guess ?? Here's the pic from the listing you posted, looks more like a yellowy "lemonsicle" in this pic ??
  12. Right @ 27/32nds my favorite Rainbo for this "Peltier Tuesday" Inside Outside
  13. I didn't know anything about Vacor either till earlier this year, I think Oregon Al posted this link here ? I can't remember and haven't had pneumonia ... .... if it wasn't on my favorites bar in front of my face I'd never remember it. LINK :: https://www.billes-en-tete.com/detail.php?id=2
  14. Hope ya smell good, I haven't been around any formaldehyde factories .. 😆
  15. I didn't have a clue, so I Googled it and this is what it came back with. Hope everyone can smell ok ??
  16. I've heard the name "creamsicle" thrown around but I don't believe anything official "yet" IMO. You have the right colors, orange and white IMO
  17. Bengal Tiger is used naming Vacor or Marble King I believe ?
  18. Green Fizzes are known for their UV reactive bases, Hmm ?? Not seeing av, I see bubbles?? Never seen one w/ av but I guess anything's possible ?? 19. Decimals are frowned upon by many, I don't mind one way or the other, here's a conversion table I use. After a while you get to learning them and won't need to consult it as often, oh and yeah those Wiger's are gettin VHTF so it may be a while before ya fill that place w/ a better one,. especially w/ the HVY av yours appears to have IMO Here's the conversion table link for ya, I have it posted to ,my favs for quick reference. 20. All Nova's were 7/8ths or bigger, wish I could help ya out on yours but I'm no sure what it is ??
  21. Here's my Nova Adam, not positive what you OP ids but not Pelt. the cuts can appear any which away, sometimes you can't even see one. Depends on how they come off the rollers, creases, folds, etc.
  22. Looks like a mixture of red and orange base (half & half) in which case you have a Wiger (half Tiger half Wasp) I just looked again & am almost positive that you have a Wiger. Most commonly found w/o av but do come w/ it, a very nice example, "killer" mib
