  1. Click on the avatar & it will go to my profile where it can be seen a bit better, the avatar is a Pelt Tiger I traded for @ the 2017 Seattle show.
  2. Yep, that'd be me on AAM, same Avatar, good to see you on both forums Dale
  3. Mmm, this one looks especially buttery good ....
  4. .... Good Grief ..... .... Ok Guys, I relent, go find that gorilla with the popcorn, and don't forget the bag, I'm feeling extra hungry .... .... Maybe bring along a shoe w/ some extra butter too for the second course ....
  5. Seen the OP on Ebay being sold buy it now as a Pelt Liberty, I agree w/ Ron, it is a Jabo. Here's the link so you can take another look @ the mib. LINK : https://www.ebay.com/itm/394192002970?hash=item5bc7ac9f9a%3Ag%3APZ0AAOSwh6Vi7nvt&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&campid=
  6. 6 almost 7 rotations, a new worlds record for an Akro cork, even if it is a double ingot ?? Still not sure it's Akro myself, still gonna say Alley, guess I'll be eating several pounds of Butter tonight ?? ...... ..... Maybe I watched DR. Seuss "Horton the Elephant" one to many times as a kid ?? Maybe I'm just going blind, that or insane ??
  7. My favorite Alley for this "Slags and Swirls Saturday"
  8. My best would be German made slag, I'm not really positive on this one
  9. First is a Master and the third is a Master Tiger eye, all very nice mibs
  10. I guess they'll never stop trying to pass this fill medium off as marbles, let's hope nobody gets duped this time. The seller is also trying to pass off some of those clays painted w/ felt tip markers as "antique clay marbles". Notice the size is nearly the same, they both probably came from the same old fill medium pile. In fact looking over their site I see about 70 to 90% fakes, both clay & glass, I definitely wouldn't buy anything from them, I believe they know exactly what they're doing. 11. I think he's just saying it was a "business" i.e. production oriented environment, "crank out" referring to the amount an individual could produce or "crank out" in a day.
  12. I already posted these pix somewhere else, AAM for sure but I can't remember where else ?? Anyway this one was also was dug from the "French Drain" many like this one w/ the olive colored base were dug @ the site. Lucky to have such a nice w/ mint example. I backlit it so you can see the classic Akro seam structure. I had this marble for years until I believe it was @Alan that finally revealed the true I.D. to me. I had an idea it was Akro but could never find another like it. My guess is it was never mass produced because of the "not so attractive" drab olive green base color ??
  13. No worries, it took me years to get them correct, I still have trouble every once in a while
  14. Yours is a Caged Lattacinio Jeremy, divided cores have ribbons Divided ribbon core
  15. IMO no , doesn't look like it but I can't be sure from the pix ??
  16. Looks like always a smile on his face, my condolences to his Family and Friends 🙏
