  1. The sales listing looks correct to me. Blocks listed sold marble (carnelian) is translucent and the OP appears to be opaque IMO
  2. "Welcome to Marble Connection Ryan" Agree w/ Art on the ID, I believe these are newer type.
  3. A couple tighty whitey Joseph Coats for this "Thüringen Thursday" first one is 29/32nds, second one is a hair overs 15/16ths, not the best but everything on them is as made so fine by me. ______________________________________________________________________________________________
  4. X2, Agree, Akro on both IMO
  5. Salright, I'm glad you slipped a Jabo in there to show a little different colored av.
  6. av. = Aventurine The sparkles you see in the black ribbons here are called aventurine. It can be added or be the result of a chemical reaction in the glass. There are a few different colors of av. besides silver or blue, green for one. here are a couple peltiers w/ aventurine in them. Peltier isn't the only manufacturer that had or has marbles containing aventurine, it's also used in many contemporary marbles. Contemporary with aventurine.
  7. It's "cooked" heated up then put in cold water. These were marketed as "Fried" marbles but I forget by what company. People do it themselves also so I couldn't tell ya which, still a very common mib. The cracks you see are fractures in the glass.
  8. x3, NLR Zebra, 39/64 (almost 5/8ths) common size, I see hvy av in the thin black ribbons, probably also present in the bronze colored ones, almost a checkerboard pattern but not quite, still a nice mib Al.
  9. Better late than never I guess ?? Old man Winter is here They're really whippin and dippin next door on the construction. The Taco Bell is done now they're laying down pavement, concrete, digging, and leveling the top layer of dirt all @ the same time, I think this is the Olive Garden spot ??
  10. A Pee-Wee Christmas tree I got from a good marble Brother for this "Peltier Tuesday" Right @ the 1/2" .50 mark, maybe a hair under.
  11. Sorry for the huge lapse in pix. I've had C-19 plus a bunch of Dr. stuff, now it's froze hard + snowed and there is going to be an appreciable difference in the pix between "then & now" I meant to get all the subtle differences in but @ this point; not gonna happen. I'll try and remember to get a few in tomorrow of the leafless trees !!
  12. Both Opaque colors, OP is a Girlscout IMO, John Deere has dark transparent green ribbons on an opaque yellow base. Lemon Lime can be(Translucent Green Base) opaque yellow ribbons LINK :: https://www.peltiermarbles.info/nlrs Welcome to the land of confusion
  13. There is an Opaque K&M NLR type like William said, and a transparent K&M but no translucent (semi opaque) type Peltier NLR Ketchup & Mustard (White Opaque Base) Peltier Clear (Transparent Clear Base) Ketchup & Mustard
  14. "Welcome to Marble Connection Jennifer" Thanks for posting your treasure, looks like you have @ least 3 different manufacturers there, no newer stuff so all Vintage. Many years of combined marble and marble related knowledge here and folks more than willing to help ya pout on your marble quest. Others will post shortly for a better ID on your mibs. If you dabble into Stephs study hall" a bit there are loads of pictures and manufacturing information on nearly every marble producer there was.
