Pelt Blue Panthers are opaque blue W opaque black ribbons, usually W very sparse or no silver av in the black ribbons. I'm not seeing Pelt in this marble. I see a transparent Blue base W Bluish to white swirls.

You are right, neither is Peltier. First one maybe Alley, second one I'll hazard no guess. Someone will chime in W the correct I.D. for ya.

Sometimes called "Paper Mache" by some that's not what they are at all. Though light they are made from tree resin. They can be quite valuable and significant in sizer as well. Once you hold one in your hand you'll never forget what they feel like and the specific weight as compared to glass they are quite light.

The 3 that look the same appear to be Alley to me and the one in the lower R hand corner I have no idea IMO

The answer to your question is kind of a mixture, it has taken me years and I'm still learning as new providence is revealed we all learn. Colors, seams, size along W many other traits all play a part in marble identification. There will be other's that chime in to give you an idea, if you have any pix please post them, they can be very helpful as you start your marble journey. Again "Welcome"
