I'm extremely happy to post the very first Sulfide since I began collecting, a trade gift from a very good friend π

Darn! That's ok, I will call them keepers nonetheless. I was pretty excited when Tyler (Patty's son) came up to me and said "Are these like Ron's?" The kid sure has an eye because I didn't see them. Glad I got him started in this hobby! I keep badgering him to join here and benefit from the wealth of knowledge. He did find his first slag piece last weekend (a Westmoreland purple and white resting rabbit dish). Yesterday he nailed his first couple Akroware pieces too. He's definitely hooked!

Are these by chance affiliated with the Alley/Pennsboro insulators? Happened upon them by chance today, got them for a buck apiece. I had to check out Stephen and Ron's video too compare and they are similar with the exception of mine have 3 "ribs" where the ones Ron showcased had 4. I think the green one top middle (in the video) had 3? Love too hear some feedback on these!

I collected football cards for around 30 years, but for a brief time I did pick up a box of baseball or basketball occasionally. I recall busting boxes looking for the Frank Thomas "no name" rookie (1990 Topps I think?) Cracked many packs hoping to hit it but too no avail. Not sure about now, but at one point, Beckett had this particular rookie card listed at about 2 bucks straight from the pack. The error card without his name on it? A cool $1,500. I'm sure it's way down now, but maybe the Graded copies are fetching a decent price. Thought I would share π

The "Score!" thread. Post your exciting finds here...

Not a bad score today, separated these from the cats and such. Plus a couple of Akro pumpkins too go with my bigger one. Individually, a few I like π -
Welcome James! I myself was born in Indianapolis and lived my childhood in Indiana until moving to Florida in the late 70's. Lived in Rushville, West Lafayette, Carmel, Jamestown. Don't recall which one is closest to Shelbyville but I have been there a few times years ago! I still have cousins there, most notably Jim Neal, son of Judy Neal. But anyway, welcome to MarbleConnection π
