Bagged marbles from a Swedish country store!
William replied to Chris Parson's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
I did consider the age playing a factor, hopefully the seller considers too reflect on his packaging skills and the postal service handles your future shipments with more care 😊 -
Pic I got a few hours ago, my gal and her son heading out for supper and some action at the casino 😊

Cool indeed 👍

White chocolate perhaps? That "tear" looks awful clean, like it was cut. Maybe not, just appears so? -
Couple of Pelts and a Master Also....do like the car, would like to see some closer, detailed pics?
-
Thanks! Happy with it 😊

I was thinking maybe Pelt on #2 and #8 (the 2nd #8)....Master also on #4 and #10....maybe WV swirl on #1...#7 and the first #8 appear to be the same marble, maybe Jabo....#5 Jabo and #3 Vacor? Size would help but those are my guesses?

It was interesting! I couldn't imagine a chicken coop for what, 2 years I think it was?

Patty flew to California yesterday too see her oldest son for the first time in 12 years, so I guess you can say were both on vacation! 😁 Love shots from the plane looking down at the world, in this case, over Colorado. Also pictured is one with one of her pilots and a very nice gentleman from Nigeria on his way home too take his family his earnings 😊 Hooked up with her son last night, while I was talking to her he approached too pick her up. Quite the tearjerker as I was on speaker as they embraced. What a moment. Hopefully more pics too come!

Too bad Miken has never did this with their error softball bats. Wrong kevlar sleeve, wrong mold, wrong mandrel, any errors in process found down the line are just marked "blems" and sold at discount Alot of this decision was based on performance issues but some blem products over the years I know they could have labeled a "hybrid" of some sort and sold for profit. Anyway, errors at discount rates or otherwise is the better option versus scrap 😊

I thought I would put a little more focus on the first German I ever found, highlighting the interior as best as I possibly could so as too see it's design. At least I got some better shots of the colors. Man, has he been through some wars! Happy Thuringen Thursday!

Tom Mosser began working at Cambridge Glass in Ohio as a teenager until it's closing in 1954. He spent some time gathering the necessary equipment to manufacture glassware out of a chicken coop and once he got the ball rolling, started the company called Variety Glass, I believe in 1959. In 1971, he started the Mosser Glass company, a somewhat small company currently employing around 30 people. Interesting history once I researched it! This mini plate was produced in the 70's from what I gather, and there are quite a few out there in an abundance of colors. Only dropped $5 on it, pretty cool little piece 😊

Nice little lot 👍 -
Thanks for the input...at 18 apiece, I think I will snag them. Rarely run across original packaging around here.
