Pretty nice, Tommy! Popcorn, popcorn, get yer popcorn -
Actually, they don't taste very good at all. They are basically a carp, and some folks do like smoked carp, but I think it depends on the species? They are considered an invasive species around here and generally get thrown back or used for cut bait. This fish has even made it inland too the trout streams! I've even seen some people just throw them in the woods for the critters! The last day out there is 31st, then they shut down until the Spring. Not sure if I will be back out there this month again or not? We'll see!

Oh boy, it's early....wrong marble! Sorry! Allow me too post the correct one! But I will still accept ID confirmation on this one π

Hopefully these are better images....and size is 0.86. I can see where one would think Master also, I kind of thought Pelt because I have one similar that was identified as such a while back. Only this one has the white where the other one has just the wispy brown. Hope this helps!

At least one of my Sucker's was about 1.8 pounds, the biggest one caught there so far is 2.6. Close! The only river rookie out the bunch was Dave, my brother in law holding up the Black Bass. There were already around 20 people out there when we sailed up about 7:15, so I let Dave have the last stall facing the river. I took the shallow side, hurting my chances of snagging big ones a little bit, but that's ok! Wanted him too take it all in!

I'll do that, Steph, plus the size would also help π€ͺ

Just a small portion of what was caught by my group today. I Only caught 3 Sucker's, also known as a Redhorse (a variety of carp). Tons of Sturgeon and Walleye today, along with White, Black and Smallmouth Bass, Sauger, Sheepshead, and Big Flathead Catfish. Great day all around! A couple of the best moments was seeing a fox family along the shore really close early this morning playing on some big, rotted tree stumps; and seeing that young man in the picture sitting with his very first Big one!

Haven't seen a cat quite like this with it's color combo, but I definitely see high iron content in it's diet π

Been kind of a dry spell out there in the wild but finally came across a jar that I was more than happy to purchase. Besides the usual variety of cats eyes, a Nice little mix of makers π -

I almost had the "older gentleman" luck a couple weeks ago....a coworker in maintenance said his father had a ton of old marbles that he kept in old bank bags in the attic and that he would check into it for me. 2 days later, he informed me that his uncle had bought them π Oh well, but great score for ya! π -
It's like an alien sighting "they are still out there" π½ fine score indeed!

I tried using the scotch brite side of this dishwashing sponge with Dawn or Mr. Clean and had decent results. About as "abrasive" as I dared get.

Cool! Makes me remember back when I was a kid, maybe 18 or so, and I got hired on with a concrete contractor too work during the construction of the King's Bay Naval Submarine Base in King's Bay, Georgia. I'll never forget it π -
Steph, that just sucks. Sorry to hear about this sad event.
