I'm having a tough time seeing the difference between reflection and iridescence on my phone screen of the single colored marbles..looking long and close though it appears your right ð
-
Take a look at Ann's avatar...that's a nice Vitro Cat's eye for ya ð
-
Common Cat's eyes...look close though, because some of these can get interesting! There are a ton of references with images, descriptions, etc; here at MarbleConnection (Steph's study hall for example)...great resources! Also check out the tutorial videos by Stephen Bahr (a member here also) on YouTube. Absolutely fantastic works by himself and other collectors that are incredibly in depth and detailed. You'll love them.

Yep, Vacor or one really pretty Imperial!
-
The yellow ones might be Japanese pinchers...
-
Yep, I get "warned" before proceeding too ð

Or maybe zooming in made me cross eyed ðĪŠ

The one too the right of Ty that one might be a "caged" cat's eye tough to tell without closer, focused pics..
-
There are a few other places on the web too look them up. One that I use at times is called Liste. 200+ varieties/examples of Vacor mibs there

Keep finding them ððð -
Kinda what I thought initially...I like them too when the color covers them like that..
-
And hopefully those construction crews don't cause any damage too them, even though the season is ending soon. There's a bonehead in every group it seems ð

I suppose so...it's like around here. Occasionally you'll have a farmer "donate" an old farmhouse, barn, or silo too the local fire department for training (intentional burns, scaling down the silo, etc). Swat or fire department, it's fun too check it out when they do it!

They are pretty...what the rain does too those made me think of my 2 Peonies out front. It never fails. Every time the majority of the flowers have opened and they stand tall and proud, a heavy rain comes and beats them down. Tears off half of the petals and all the stalks lay down in a circle. Takes quite a few days for them to even stand up straight like they were. Some don't at all. Seems the only ones that don't mind are those average sized black ants that farm the buds before they open!

MK, or quite possibly a Pelt ðĪ

I remember when I first started I never really backlit a heckuva lot. Now I do it pretty much all the time. It is pretty cool what one finds/discovers with a little light ð -
I'm going to be Spitting for next couple O days Ian's looking for me.

Wow, record rainfall too the tune of 12-16 inches in some places within a 24 hour period...or less. The type of rainfall they describe as "500-1,000 year events", meaning you might see this once in that time span. Wow, wow, wow. Still have I think 2.5 million people without power, with two counties that are totally off the grid and requiring total infrastructure rebuild. Storm surge unlike any ever seen down there. I guess Fort Myers began measuring such a thing in 1965, with it's biggest measurement being over 3 feet. They topped 7 feet in this. Not sure where their post office is located, but the mayor of Fort Myers said in correspondence with CNN that he was looking at around a 4 foot tall waterline on that building. Prayers too my friends and relatives down there. Stay safe as you come forth from shelter or as you head back home from where you evacuated from. ðð -

I watched it all morning, Jeff. STAY SAFE. Not so sure about those folks that are choosing too ride it out on their boats in the harbors down there. Especially in the wind/storm surge bullseye, where storm surge could be 12-16 feet above normal levels. Hopefully it's not boats on top of boats! Fingers crossed and prayers for safety for my Floridian family and friends ð -
Forgot I had it...was digging through a Rainbo jar and came across it
