  1. The eyelashes in image #5 ARE JUST KILLER!! Nice group Mojo! Marble--On!!
  2. Great stuff Ric, Because of this post we will all be watching out. I just love this stuff--folks sharing the wisdom and experience. I think that the OP is a "Shimmering Spruce" however😁. One of the very few that intended on having AV in the green. Marble--On!!
  3. I do not recall a Vacor this size packaged alone--maybe a Canadian thing? Do you have any examples? Were they packed in nets? Cool stuff imho--- @Al Oregon? @Melissa? Marble--On!!
  4. I believe that it has to do with the cutting device used. Some older machines were single cutoff where the knives cut and came back to make another cut. Some machines cut one way and then back again to make another cut and this would explain a reverse in the pattern. It would have to be 50-50 as a result. This is my best Ric but I can imagine it going--- (in my head at least.) Perhaps Peltier changed the direction of their cutoff knives at some point? Marble—On!!
  5. I do not blame you here William--it is a bit of weird but I think a WVS. There does appear to be some "opal" involved also. Lets ask @cheese for an opinion here. Marble--On!!
  6. I would call this one a Vitro Tri-Lite. Of course, I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Your images are just the tops! Marble--On!!
  7. Vitro--a "Tri Lite" imho. Nice one! @Ric knows these very well and will straighten me out if I am off base here. @Melissa also knows her Vitro--lets knock on her door as well. Marble--On!!
  8. Ooo----buzz-kill Ric. Do you have any to share? I would love to see some for sure. @Nantucketdink? Marble--On!!
  9. It is not an original imho but when I cilck on the image and get a deep look at it, the design looks raised instead of imbedded. The wood is interesting as well--I want to call it Black Walnut--but this seems wrong. Kinda weird really. It almost looks handmade. A cool find none the less. Marble--On!!
  10. Anacortes Washington was once the headquarters of Vitro manufacturing marbles. This one looks like it wanted to be round imho----very cool!! A Keeper for sure!! Marble—On!!
  11. 6:00 PM Fire--Central Time. We always eat at home--or Taco Bell once in a great while😁. I get the big 12 bunch of Tacos--6 soft and six crunchy--my wife gets what she likes🤢. Hot sauce to the max. Yumm. Maybe this weekend, I will be prepping for Easter on Saturday for Sunday. A #14 Ham and all of the fixins included. I just love this stuff!!
  12. Welcome "TheNewToMarblesGuy" to "TheMarbleConnection". You will not get a bad ID here--just some discussion. The original post of your marbles show all Jabo "Classics" with the exception of one--the middle lower one(wvs imho)--the one to the left may be a Pelt--maybe. The folks here have stepped up and tried to help for sure. You can agree to dissagree for sure and we can all accept that. Live and learn--we all have and you have to step in line here and show a few at a time and take your lumps. I expect anyone that is passionate about marble ID to take a stand--but one at a time my marble collecting friend--please. I will for one, will not put up with this one getting too aggressive. Marble--On!!
  13. What a killer marble! Blow outs on an Akro are quite rare in my opinion. It looks all original to me---very nice! Marble--On!!
  14. Ohhh--the big ones are a hard find! Marble--On!!
  15. This a large--just "Killer" "Rooster" imho. Letas ask @Melissa and @Mojo. Great marble!! Marble--On!!
  16. The op is an Akro Sparkler imho--nuf said. Marble--On!!
  17. You will usually see drizzle like this one on a hand-gathered marble. This one breaks the bank and is machine made. Image #13 is justr "Killer" It is more than likely an Alley Agate. Of course, I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Great Marble!—Just a great one to find in a lot. Marble—On!!
  18. That greenish shadow has me thinking. Marble--On!!
  19. I doubt that much--but all very minty😁. Marble--On!!
  20. These are my dug--out of the garden last year😁 Marble--On!!
  21. A "Running Rabbit"!!! Well--this one brings back a few pleasant memories for sure. Marble--On!!
  22. This is a nice group as Ric says--love em-- Marble--On!!
  23. This is a Vitro “Master Tray” the marbles are 7/8”. The brass has great “Patina” and the inside was obviously used as an “ash tray”. I want to clean the inside and then again not—just leave it alone says my instinct. (it does not stink at least to my used-up senses) Tell me what you think. I will post some images below of the tray itself along with a smaller one on top. Thanks and Marble—On!!
  24. I purchased this box a few years ago—glass top under the cover –very nice shape—I just love old boxes like this—guess why I purchased it? It needs some fixin but my fingers are not that steady anymore-maybe next week. Marble—On!!
