  1. Even tough you show some great images--these two are a tuff ID. I will stick my neck out and call the first one a Vitro and the second one a Master. Marble--On!!
  2. Clay is good when metal detecting--it keeps the good stuff up towards the surface. Good luck!
  3. Size is important here--as always. I have not seen a "Milky" that glows and that means little in the scope of Akro and what they produced. I wonder if it may be an Alley? @cheese? Marble--On!!
  4. Great idea--step up if you are going. Marble--On!!

  8. I met Les once at the Badger Marble Show in Madison WI. It was at the end of the show, most were packing up to leave but he gave me his time for sure. He was in the middle of the room with his "bibs" overalls on. He took over the entire middle of the room with his collection. ( not in a row of tables but right in the middle-like Geno Biffany did---respect!) I purchased two Akro patches from him @$40 a piece. I will show them below. Marble--On!!

I always though of these beach marbles as ones that were shot from a slingshot/orwhatever and ended up on the beach. These little round orbs are bound to be picked up by the waves and deposited on the beach--the roll quite well. I have never heard of any marble company putting them in a lake or Ocean--rivers --yes. 16. Image seven shows the ¾” rule when trying to determine Akro vs Master. Master shows up as a ¾ coverage and Akro is more 50/50 in coverage. My vote is Master. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble—On!
  17. You are a true junkie--great images once again. It is what you say it is--just beat up--not older. This one saw some great play! @Fire1981 and I would consider it a keeper for sure--I just love it. It would be top shelf in my "beaters" section of the collection. No Bad Marbles!! Marble--On!!
