  1. I agree---Chinese marbles are always copying--even Vacor. Marble—On!!
  2. OHHHH!!! They or us😁---used to call these "Millers". Nice marbles!!! Marble--On!!
  3. X20---very nice!!! Marble--On!!
  4. The early machine made marbles were competing with the earlier handmade marbles. The “agate” name that many marbles from the machine made era had was just a marketing thing trying to compete with the old era marbles that were actually agate/stone/clay. MFC, CAC, Peltier, Akro and others tried to copy what was once popular from overseas in the stone made or hand-mades and they succeeded. This is my best thought for an answer--- Marble—On!!
  5. Vacor vs Peltier is the question--Peltier imho. Check the dark side for any AV or aventurine which will show up as little sparkles as you move the marble under direct light. Regardless of the maker—a very nice find!!! Marble—On!!
  6. This one may be an Akro--Just sayin---- Marble--On!!
  7. I collected one--or she collected me---That will do it!! Nice one Ric!! Marble--On!!
  8. Vintage is to me something that I remember seeing for sale new or owned as new in my past lifetime. It does not have to be that old—just after 1954 . Marble—On!!
  9. This used to be my "Pocket Marble". I would take it wherever I went. To work—to the mall—Grocery shopping—etc. I just love this thing. It grounded me and my collecting addiction. It is still front and center on my desk-top (wooden desk top). I remember Gino Biffany offering me a trade at a show—“anything that you see”---it may have been a test but I turned him down. He was a character for sure—what a great guy-------- Some marbles you just fall in love with—this is mine. Marble—On!!
  10. Support for sure!! Patience--well, I am a baby boomer collector--patience always. Marble--On!!

  16. Orange slags are a hard find--if you followed this one like you say it must have taken hours😁--my eyes hurt just thinking about it. I would call it an Akro slag. All opinions are appreciated--this one needs some more of them. Marble--On!!
