Awesome for sure--these boxes also shipped with corkscrews--same colors involved. Yours is very nice Mojo! Marble--On!!

Right on Chad---from over the pond--very nice!!! Marble--On!!

I agree these are not from the Americas--Asian--the first one is "killer". Marble--On!!

I like all of the comments here but I agree with William on this one. (it almost looks Akroānot) The separation at the cut lines just does not add up with a USA marble unless it was made by MKāwhich it is not imho. Just my humble opinionā MarbleāOn!!

You are right one my fellow marble collector. UV Marbles have a slight premium just not as much as AV or Lutz. MarbleāOn!!

Cool stuff--post a free link and be amazed. I think that @Chad G. did this a few years back--pretty cool stuff! Marble--On!!

Blue Clearie with Oxblood
akroorka replied to YasudaCollector's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
Sorry if I missed the size----- Regardless of the chemical reaction that may have caused thisāor not---more images are needed with this one. It looks like a very very nice one imho and I always like to see Oxblood regardless of the intentions of the maker. Nice marble!! MarbleāOn!! -
It is a nice marble--near mint imho--there appears to be some wear--nice size---nice colors---nice action---Ummm-Ummmm I would list it at $15 and a $30 bin. Marble--On!!
-
17/32's--no cheating with measurements (I squeezed pretty hard on the calipersš). Pelt made the very best small ones imho. MarbleāOn!!
-
Nice images non the less. Hard to tell--simply put. Marble--On!!
-
I am not sure either but William is as close as it gets as far as I am concerned-- @cheese will have my final evaluation here. (It may be an Alley). Nice find --nice marble!! Marble--On!!

Nice images and description. This one is not a Vacor--WVS imho. Marble-On!!

The OP are imho--Jabo. The size was not listed but I believe them to be about 9/16"-5/8" in size. These would be considered as Jabo "Classic" or from an original run of marbles meant for the general market made by the Jabo Company. @Nantucketdink may have a good opinion here. Marble---On!!

My favorite color combo in all of the marbles ever made. I just love these things! Nice marble!! MarbleāOn!!

The middle one is a test for sure--I would sort it as Vitro. Marble--On!!

The āNine Thingā may be a bit of a misnomer. Many marbles, slags, swirls or even a patch or two will show up with a ānineā involved. No maker has the trademark on any ānineā they just happen as a result of the marble machinery that is/was used to produce these cute little orbs. Never buy a marble because of theānineā unless you are a collector of āNinesāāmany do--!!! Study the classic āninesā that are more often than not associated with āslag type marblesā from a variety of old classic marble makers. MarbleāOn!!
-
Yes--the same. I know--it looks like a slag--it is a swirl. Keep it going and you will know the difference. Slags are generally found in any lot of marbles because they for the most part do not carry much value--quadmillions were made. If you have not found any slags yet--you will--and they are more than likely old. Marble--On!!

Not a name that I am familiar with--that being said--- If you are marble crazy enough like me, back light them all and hit them with UV light as well. These "Clearies" were made the same way as the more colorful marbles. Clearies generaly look clear or transparent until --sometimes--you hit them with a black light. They are worth little--until you, the collector find them--then they are just a cool find that was a result of--well--lookingš and putting the work in. Nice find! Marble--On!!
-
It is a nice one--but--, Look at the little white "hit marks"--a common "Classic Jabo" trait. āClassic Jaboā are production run marbles made for the mass market as opposed to "Contract Jabo" which saw a limited run made with cash paid in by a variety of marble enthusiastsā who mostly were either there during the run working or close by. These little white hit marks actually happened before the bags were opened, during production or during shipment. MarbleāOn!!

All companies made organe-ish and white swirls back in the day. This one is a WVS imho, just nothing to get too excited about because there were so many made like this over the years. It is not a Vitro. MarbleāOn!!

Have fun Melissa, I will not be there; I just got my latest Covid shot today and will be down and out tomorrowš¤¢. Just bad planning--once again.. Bill Bass is top notch as are all of the Badgers there. It is not a really big show but they all have really big hearts filled with a huge marble passion. MarbleāOn!!

Nope--they still may be what you think that they may be. Marble--On!!
