  1. Try Bar Keeper’s Friend or other soft cleansers first. 4-0 steel wool may help. It is not supposed to scratch glass. Make sure it’s 4-0.
  2. Agree. Also , they tend to chip easily and finding pristine examples can be difficult.
  3. There is a website: billes-en-tete.com that shows Vacor names and photos.
  4. Top 2 definitely Alley, not absolutely certain about bottom two.

  8. A 3/4” swirl is much more likely to be Alley than CAC. I see some Christensen traits, but I think Alley.
  9. Whities are supposed to have a white base and no color at each pole.
  10. Brown is the most common followed by yellow, green, red and blue according to Bob Block’s Marbles: Identification and Price Guide 5th Ed.
