  1. You are correct that MFC did not make red slags. Agree that it would most likely be a hand-gathered Akro.
  2. All look foreign to me. Imperial on the right IMO.
  3. It’s an evolving science. Marblealan was an excellent authority on marbles, but information changes over time. Don’t be discouraged!
  4. Amber is the name they give to brown. Nice MFC Jeremy!
  5. Good to see Kermit gyrating again!!
  6. This would be a clear slag. MFC and Akro both made clear slags. My money would be on MF Christensen.

    Akro ?

To me, Akro seams, but colors suggest Vitro.
  8. Tri-lites have a clear base and may have a wispy white matrix. Sorry but not seeing that here.
  9. Sorry, I would not call it a Turkey swirl.
  10. Supposedly, Mr. Arnold Fielder, of Akro Agate, used potatoes in the batch glass to reduce bubbling in the glass. (Reference: American Machine-Made Marbles by Dean Six, et.al.
  11. Agree Ravenswood but can’t exclude possibly Alley.
  12. Oxblood to me, but only the thin lines on the blue, IMO.
  13. Looks like a Champion furnace marble.
