  1. What is the dark color, black or purple? thanks.
  2. "Might be" a newer marble. Could you show more pics of the poles? thanks
  3. Bottom right in the box, opaque or transparent? thanks
  4. Size is 1 1/8". No idea of age. I have had it for about 15 years. Some kind of crude single pontil. thanks
  5. Oh my, those ones we "used" to have...................
  6. Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but.................. Some of examples from Akro: thanks
  7. Thank you Ann. The second marble is a good example of what I was talking about. Try to imagine that marble without the yellow "skin" and you have one very close to your first marble. thanks
  8. Naked (no skin) onionskin with mica(?) thanks
  9. I would have to agree. Now I can't say which company made them, but whoever did, they "appear" to be dug marbles. thanks
  10. 3/4"? Some blue swirls and bubbles inside? Glowing orange-ish moonie base? Christensen Agate? thanks
  11. Sorry Galen: you just leave yourself so wide open. lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2ke-b8_hHU thanks
  12. Looks like a melted pontil from here, so I would say made in Ohio. To me, it's a very pretty mib. I call this type a snowflake (don't know if anyone else does). What size is it? How do you get that backlight effect? thanks.
  13. Size is 13/16". Best I can tell, the marble is 11/16 or 23/32". It's an onionskin and slightly shrunken on one side. I have not taken it out, did not want to break the tines(if that's what they are called). No maker's mark. Of course, I don't know if it is original or not. thanks
  14. Size is 7/8". Yellow base glass with a white "cloud" inside. Melted pontil. thanks
  15. Most excellent mibs Winnie. Thanks for sharing. thanks
  16. Maybe this is what he is referring to? thanks
  17. Gnome; I believe the one you are showing is an Akro Carnelian. A Cornelian was Akro's attempt to copy M.F.C.'s American Cornelia (aka brick). thanks sorry, posting at the same time as Steph.
  18. Akro Agate Cornelian Opaque and 13/16" thanks
