  1. Don't know if this would qualify as a folded. I have heard this type described as a "fingernail" pontil (lower left). Although I do not believe it is a true pontil. Hope this helps. thanks.
  2. I believe you have "precision banded" Indian and a very nice one at that size. The separation of glass (black lines in the colored panels) is not that uncommon in this type of marble. thanks.
  3. I'd call it a shrunken core Onionskin. thanks.
  4. I'm a thinkin' that red on "may be" an Ohio marble. thanks.
  5. Hard to tell from the pics. Does it look like any of these? thanks.

  7. ...and it even has a "fingernail" pontil: thanks.
  8. It is opaque. I have seen them range in color from red to dark burgandy with white or yellow swirls. All of the ones I have seen were in the 3/4" range in size. thanks.
  9. BH; here's a site you may want to check out. akronmarbles.com look in the Main section. thanks.
  10. This one, although not quite like your pic, was ID'd as an Akro Cornelian. Akro's version of M.F.C's American Cornelian. aka: Brick. thanks.
  11. Is there a creek behind his shop? thanks.
  12. I hope the others are legit. I noticed they said one was "Andy Gump". I believe Peltier only used the name "Andy". more from the repo box. thanks.
