The commercial was for emphasizing the strength and durability of the luggage and how they can take abuse. When the mega marbles show up at Hobby Lobby, they are net 4 bags in one plastic bag and there is no protection since they left south of the border at Vacor. I generally find the transparent ones are maybe more fragile than opaque models and can't take as much a beating.

Hiya Bud! Welcome to the forum. Great people here.

I know I have at least 15,000 of the Mexican marbles. My only complaint about these is a lot of models, particularly the transparent colored and clear base ones seem to be easily flea bitten and fractured with factory packiaging and shipping / transportation issues. Makes me think of the old TV commercial for American Tourister luggage with the Gorilla and suitcase in the cage how they must all handle the marbles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8bsg5qczgM

I concur Alta. It doesn't have the seams and definition of a Master, or an Akro for that mattter. But . . . I like it . . . yes I do!

I have seen iridescent clear based 1 color 6 vane Mega Marbles that are also going by the name "Confetti". I have quite a few. They look pretty nice in hand. Better than this image.

I won this unidentified net bag in a marble auction recently and was hoping to get some nice, somewhat earlier Michelangelo players, but these are much more difficult to find. Tornado These have the same colors as Michelangelo but instead of swirls, the colors are like ribbons that generally go from pole to pole and end there. One is fractured, ( of course ) so I'll be on the hunt for a replacement at the NJ marble show in a few weeks.

Toebreakers! I might have 1 of those and a few next size down. I have a beautiful perfect 1 5/8th Glitterbomb but I assembled a nice Sampler 10 oz net bag and it is now part of that assortment. I thought I should post my silly clear set I was mentioning above. Getting bigger would be much easier than getting smaller. That tiny one is 8.8mm and the next size up are both from a Glasfirma Mexico net bags. I remember because they counted them as 1 marble of the contents I was supposed to have.

I think these are ID-ed correctly? 2009 Jabo Tribute To Friendship (on top half) 2008 Jabo Tribute 1 (bottom 15 marbles) These are my latest. Here they now reside with the other more special Jabo's, Sammy's Mountain Marbles and Dave's Appalachian Swirls and better classics. Off to the side on a shelf I house my other classics. I just love sorting these over and over. Tomorrow I'll be getting a pkg with that hundred I posted just a week ago shown above in the bags from Vitro/Jabo.

I like those Vacors but I stay in the 9/16 to 1 inch range and sometimes get a bigger or smaller if the detail is still nice. They tend to lose eye appeal and have cold folds when they are really large in my experience. Coincidently for fun I just put a 10 pc graduating set of crystal clear marbles in a tiny jar but they might be from several makers. They look neat lined up. and . . . welcome to the Marble Connection forum. Stick around, it gets funner.

Oh I really like this one. So glad for all the close up shots too! Wonderful collection and great video you put together. Thank you! Click on the link to You Tube Worlds Largest Marble King Collection - Curated by George Armann The sound effects and background music is always a plus. You are a funny one Stephen, I'm a big fan. Thanks!

I'm seeing Master on the last one on the right. If I had to guess, I would say Akro Pelt and Master. In that order, first picture.

Not the most exciting but still, these are right down my alley. Won these tonight. I have been trying to find some 1 inchers to complete a few Michelangelo sets and got 4. That might be a set of a little earlier Michelangelos. (Not Alta's kind LOL) Nice one's Alta! I got some old Jabo/Vitro classics here I suppose, probably 4 bags of 25 but one of the bags is probably missing. I truly wanted some modern Marble King Hercules, Cub Scouts and Wasps and well, there ya go. Price was right for all these. Thanks for gawking.

These three are of slightly different size, plus and minus 5/8th inch. I think they are all of the same maker and type. They are opaque. I see some striation of a brown area on all three that looks similar. I show the two poles on the same marble in the single images. To me they have a Master Marble looking construction. Hope my pictures are good enough. Honestly, they aren't all that boring to me. I would appreciate a little help here. Thank you

Marble King is a great marble maker to study as a beginner. Not very difficult to get pretty well informed. I like MK a lot.

I would start by clicking on this link and see what sellers are near you. https://hibid.com/map?miles=50 Then I would see if there is contact info for those nearby sellers while you are logged and give them a call or write them. Ask if they will sell for you. Then I would register free with Hibid. You might need to be an actual licensed auctioneer to sell things yourself. I don't know? Register to have an account so you can communicate with sellers. Do some prudent investigation with past auctions they had. Did they get good money, do they make any effort to show good images and descriptions? I have told my wife, if I kick the bucket that she should contact Blocks Auctions and see if Robert will sell my stuff. I think he would. https://www.marbleauctions.com/contact
