  1. Thanks Fire! It is made tricky because of my unskilled photography and frustration. Here it looks like a green base but it is still blue. Well, maybe aquamarine? This doesn't even look like the same marble but it is. I really think this shows oxblood which I did not detect before. It is a pretty dark marble. Unfortunately besides the hits, it has a couple fractures which I tried my best to show. I did not see them before until I put this light on it. I hope I have shown both ends of the seams. But . . . I still like it.
  2. Oh, and I forgot that the marble in post 1 above GLOWS under UV. At first it appeared both the white patch and the amber base glowed but I think it is just reflecting the glowing white through the amber. Turned to the side it does not glow in the clear section.
  3. I just posted another marble with a similar sounding title (Vitro) but I think this is of a different maker with some similarities. This one has cool bubbles in a pretty blue colored base. This patch looks more brushed on and it also has a dark brown mixed in with the white. This one is not UV reactive. 5/8th in diameter. I have no idea what it is but with some more help I might be able to get better at ID-ing these unfamiliar types. As always, thanks for your thoughts and knowledge shared.
  4. One is slightly smaller than the other. My wishful thinking is Peltier colors, but they are probably one of any WVS. (West Virginia Swirls) Thanks for your opinions. Size 5/8th and a little over 9/16th I would say.
  5. This one is about 5/8th in diameter. I have no others like it and it is somewhat played with but still a keeper for me. My guess is some kind of Vitro Victory type. It is neat to look inside the window and see the backside of the patch. Hope these images are helpful. They are under light and another set with flash at window. It looks a lot like the images presented here in hand. . . . . and sorry, My hands are dried up from swimming in our local YMCA pool with the chlorine and cold weather outside. Thank you!
  6. I am a fan of Marble King and that is a nice Bumblebee for sure.
  7. I took a few pictures this morning of other marbles too. I don't get much of a chance these days for daytime pictures but will have to make time. My night pictures are even worse. Well, this sure has some opal fire in it as well. Best I can do for now. I have a better camera (maybe) on the way soon.
  8. My guess is an Akro Egg Yolk. My thinking is that this is not a brownish oxblood line but a red oxblood line. It has a bit of playwear. I am sorry about these images. I should have used a different background but it does present itself in a close to actual color this way. The red floats on the surface, light does not pass through. This lights up like a boot camp platoon on a 7 minute smoke break under UV. It is about 5/8ths inch.
  9. I think that is a Peltier Sunset Rainbo. I like those.
  10. Mind blown. Saw this one last night. Good job Stephen, Ray and Rich. What a collection Ray has of Akro !!!!
  11. These images don't do justice to the yellow. It is so bright and fresh, almost electric. I think the veneer is so thick that they seem opaque up to the light . . . or . . . they are opaque with a gray base. I show the seams pretty good. One is about 5/8ths, the other slightly smaller. The brightest picture is closest to the color, the others show more detail. I should go wash that dirt or rust off them. Please help, these are really neat in my eye. Thank you!
  12. These almost look the same on each side and they look like each other too. I only have two but I think they are so cool. About 5/8th and somewhat translucent. Not UV reactive. That is not a fracture, it is a reflection of the closet frame in the marble cave. Different light attempted here but they look pretty close to these images in hand. I try to show the seams on them. Can you help me ID them by company and type please? Thanks!
  13. Goes by the name "Blue Jay"
  14. In they go with my Jabo Classic frames. No AV but tons of bubbles. I also had 5 very similar marbles with a more teal bluish green base color. I saw No AV in those either but they have the same look. Thanks emulslyfox, I agree, and I like all the marbles I have. LOL Thanks Fire, You have helped me a lot and I appreciate every thought and post you comment with when I have my questions. Have a great day folks.
  15. It became so obvious once you said Peltier Rainbo guys. I saw the two parallel lines around the equator. It was the color that threw me off. Thanks so much!
  16. I have never had the chance to say hello Carrie Ann yet. So Hello! Anyway, the Tiger Eyes are so cool. You can learn a lot watching this video here. I have watched all Stephen Bahr's videos a dozen times at least I bet. I learned a lot there and here on the forum as well.
  17. These 4 marbles arrived in a mixed lot recently. Next to most marbles, they have a softer mellow look to them. One side the seam is almost a straight squared line. Not too big and not real short. These are all a tight 5/8th inch in diameter and light does pass through the base somewhat. Again, much appreciated.
  18. This might bore some to tears but I'd like to know about some rather unexciting marbles I have here. LOL Actually, I do like them. You need to hold to a light to see through them. The glass is that dark but there are a lot of bubbles inside. They are just about 9/16th or maybe the slightest bit larger in diameter. Thanks folks!
  19. I knew they were nice when I saw them in the lot. I did not know they would be so good. Well, sometimes we get lucky. Thanks for the time and thought and confirmation that they are HTF or Very Hard To Find. Have good evening fellers. Late Edit: After further review, I believe these are Vitro Tiger Eye Type III.
  20. Woah! They are kinda sweet. Thank you Fire. They are going to stay together in that box. That way they wont get lost in the mix. I'll have to look for some matching players in my collection too. I might have even had another shooter before I got these. I don't think these have that Icing like wedding cake white brushed on though. I think it is a Phantom Conqueror type base.
