  1. I have a fair amount of normal Glitterbomb and Destroyers. They all have opaque black base glass as best I can tell except a couple. I do have a 5/8th oddball with transparent blue and another with transparent green. Without digging around, I think they are very much Destroyers but I keep those separate. Now I have this unidentified tweener of a boulder at just over 1 and 5/8th. It is somewhat shiny like a Glitterbomb but I've seen shinier for sure and it is a bit shinier than this image. It would look slightly out of place with your everyday Destroyer though. This has a green transparent base. Not black, so maybe I am barking up the wrong tree but the frit is exactly like a Destroyer and without backlighting it, could get lost in a crowd of like kind and size. Any thoughts? Thanks!
  2. Ice II Mega Marble or Ice Blue or some other kind of older Blue Jay, I don't know? I do think there might be unintentional colors swirled in, I think the light blue dark blue and white are normal and this turquoise greenish brown is just a bonus. What say ye? Thank you!
  3. Thanks Chad, I just found that section recently and it's a cool section. I am there now on another tab. I am going to try and ID a few more tonight.
  4. I have been given these two big honkin 1 3/8th Mega Marble boulders. Help please, I would not be surprised if we all are baffled by these. They are quite dark in hand, They are opaque swirls and in normal indoor dimmer lighting, they look very dark green. I will post two images her, first darker, still brighter than in hand and then with flash as seen by my camera. I have absolutely no idea what these could be. Thanks again! and believe me . . . I looked
  5. It appears I have found some similar colors and patterns as "Giraffe" Thanks to those who pondered.
  6. Thank you all for the verdict. It does have a big question mark in that coral color.
  7. I would like to believe I have a Twister here and not a newer Michelangelo. It is transparent deep cobalt blue base and the backside lacks the detail that the front here shows. That red is almost coral color and the only other colors are orange and yellow. No white. ( except the dust specks - sorry ) Thank you
  8. That yellow is throwing me off course, but it is pretty neat. It is opaque and 1 inch in diameter. Thanks for your time and thoughts on this cool boulder. .
  9. This is slightly larger than 5/8th, I'd say more 21/32". I am pretty sure there is a generous amount of aventurine there in the green patch. It is definately translucent. Can anyone help me before I go bonkers? Thanks
  10. Well, Imperials it is then but they look nice in hand, better than my pictures and I like em a lot. Thanks everyone!
  11. Thanks, I was actually just being hopeful, I tend to agree but they are kinda neat.
  12. My best guess is that the 2nd half, the blue and bubbly one is over an inch. The Yellow is 1 inch and I think both of these are Moss Agates. The one just to the left of those just looks Akro colors to me, especially that green and it is 15/16. The last on the far left has a cold roll but I think it is a Popeye patch and is also 15/16. Thank you very much
  13. Some of these do have a lipstick colored patch and another colored patch, some have two different colored patches but they have a white base. They do have an unusual sheen, that might be taken for a sort of opalescent appearance and are not as large as the usual 5/8th players as a whole. They DO NOT glow under UV however which I think Kokomo do, especially the white. So what are these? A couple have what appears to be a pair of lips. Thank you kindly folks.
  14. I think watching Stephen Bahrs videos AND this forum and the other marble forum I am on were the most helpful. These people are much more experienced than me for sure but even the most veteran collectors ask questions. I think highly of them and just for example here's one of those Stephen Bahr videos on Oxbloods. I watched all his marble videos, probably easily 10 or more times. I can't take all this marble stuff in and have to look at gallerys and ask questions again and again. Some is starting to stick and click in my mind and that makes it all a bit easier.
  15. You know, that crossed my mind. The red and bubbles lines up with my little red and white ones. There were Peltier Rainbos in that batch. That would be neat if it is a Pelt Rainbo in 7/8th size. I don't think I have a Pelt shooter or boulder.
  16. Well, I hope these are good enough. Best i could do. It appears a lot of but not all of these red swirls are near the surface. Could this be some kind of Alley or other West Virginia swirl? Some of that color is from the autumn leaves in the trees in the background. I took a lot of pictures to pick these finalists. It does not glow under UV. Thanks again.
  17. I'll get some good images outside today and follow up. Thank you all for the responses. I'm off to the pool for my exercise.
  18. The green in the pictures looks "Coke Bottle" like, but it only showed up with the flash. It looks much more clear in hand. I know this marble came from an older collection, there were no Vacor "Spaghetti" marbles in that lot, there were no non USA as far as I could tell. This is most likely not one of those European type either. It just wouldn't be among the WVS, Akro Agte and older Vitro that made up the sum of what I got at the time. I'd like to ID the maker and give it a name. It is in super nice condition. Thank you!
  19. Interesting research Fire. Thanks for that. Completely flew by me, I don't encounter many Cameleons so they weren't on my mind at all.
  20. I believe the original image and the collage from Fire are both Serpents. The oroginal one with all that yellow has a very unusual amount of yellow. I saw a lot of Serpents but never so wacky yellow. I have seen that green next to the blue and yellow but it doesn't happen all the time. Maybe it is from the two colors blending while molten hot in the making? It is just my opinion, but I do think it is a real keeper. I like oddball Vacors.
  21. They are reflections of indoor lighting. Notice how they are in the same position no matter which angle the marble is shown in every picture.
  22. I have a decent collection of marbles I set aside going through a lot of assorted Mega Marble bags. Here's a group shot of some I picked out tonight while re-organizing them, I like all kinds but I have an awful lot of fun with these Mexican mibs. I think they are rather pretty sometimes. This white one has a black whale on one side. Just the slightest hint of light blue swirls on the other. Looks mostly all white in hand. It is a crazy White Tiger.
