    This was pretty difficult to photograph, but I love the texture on this corkscrew, it's almost like I can see the glasses being mixed ( or I suppose not mixing very well ). The white is also ridged in the corkscrew pattern where it touches the black, but I couldn't capture that in the photo. Anyone else have any cool textured marbles? -Jess

    Wow!! I just went to an auction recently and was surprised to find a jar of marbles up on the block, won it, but nothing even close to what you have there, mostly Vitro. Great score!! I'm having fun just looking through your pictures -Jess

    I think the gloss is in the paint, the white bass material showing through in the below picture is not glossy at all. I'm not sure I understand the way the color is applied, how is it that the colors don't "break off" on the opposite side of the marble when you lift it out of the paint? -Jess ( I like that silent squeakiness description )

    Lol, I don't think that's crazy at all I've already tried it, it sounds the same as a 1" marble. Not like a 5/8", it's a deeper sound. if that makes any sense. -Jess

    Thanks for the replies! It definately looks painted, but it's also definately not light weight, it's actually pretty dense.
