Hi Kbobam My avatar is one of my favorite Akros, it has a deep blue clear base glass with an orange cork. I have some more pics, just can't figure out how to add them, guess it's been awhile lol

Hello everyone, I usually collect only Akro marbles, but I found something I couldn't pass up in an antique shop up in Maine. It is an Akro Lily Planter with the Akro stamp and the "MADE IN U.S.A." "657" on the bottom. In the MADE IN THE U.S.A. stamp, the N and the S are backwards. It caught my eye, so I bought it. My question is, is this a normal thing for the Akro ware, or might I have something kind of unusual here? Either way, it's pretty cool to find an error stamp for me, I like finding unusual things in antique shops. Any input would be awesome, and thanks! Happy hunting -Jessica

Wow! I'll be watching for these, I can't seem to see very many though, my eyes won't move away from one specific marble lol. Can't see past that marble! -Jess

I am in no way as good as some on here, but I like to use sunlight with a dark background, it really makes the colors come out (with a white background, the camera tends to over-compensate for the lightness and dulls the overall lighting of the entire photo) I usually just set the marbles on a dark colored non-reflective cloth. Use the Macro setting on your camera (usually indicated by a flower symbol). If you have a tripod to use, use the timer button too, that really helps me. Hope that helps some

In that last pic, the first one in the middle row, is that a cork? If it is, that would be AMAZING to find a blue and green cork out in the wild Nice score !
