  1. Here is a game I recently bought. I have not seen one before. (this type) It appears to be full of Allies. many of the marbles are seconds and should have been tossed. there are some flames and a few where the stream of glass did not get rounded . Does anyone have a similar set or is it fairly rare? Peace,Galen
  2. Most bullet mold marbles have the rough ground area where the glass is ground off at the area it was poured into the mold. It was a large opening to make sure the glass filled the mold before hardening. Peace,Galen
  3. Looks like we need a National Marble King naming council now. Peace,Galen Name Game Hater
  4. Slag= transparent glass with white swirling or striping. If it has another color glass other than a little accidental it really is not a slag. IMHO. Peace,Galen
  5. The size of the stream is one of the determining factors on the size of the seam. Long Thin little streams(very hot glass)for wirepulls, flames and most swirls. Therefor nondistinct cutoffs.(the flap(LOL)******* Short wide streams for most others= Noticable cutoffs(seams) ***Slags mixed in the pot and were made with many sized streams . Very generalized and No diagrams but this should help. (LOL) Peace,Galen**** Look at corks A multitwist(thinner stream) rarely shows its cutoffs.(seams) While the barely twist(Patchy types) have noticable cutoffs(seams). Not exactly the same but a fair analogy.

And he has been using the Exotic label in the hopes of getting more $. He has been calling anything that is colorful Exotic for a while now. Too bad. The Exotic label is worthless anyway as it is now being used for many different types of CACs. Or fakes if that is what you believe. Peace,Galen

It does appear that most of the people that have this type do not feel the need to defend them. I will say that if they are fake there is absolutely no way they were made by hand or on one of the home made marble rounding machines. If someone has CACs original machines and Their original glass, Then yes they could be modern. Thats it for me. Peace,Galen

Ken is not one to mince words is he! And may I add that most of the money spent on these little beauties has been by long time very knowledgeable collectors. Who would not buy them if they were fakes! And the story that I have heard has nothing to do with them being in the ground. So there may be another bit of the puzzle that needs to be filled in. The only way they could be new is if Arnold Feidler is still alive and he has all the CAC marble making equipment in his basement. IMHO. Peace,Galen
  11. IMHO probably not. Peace,Galen
