  1. I do not believe Vacor made Cat eyes in the 40s 50s.
  2. There is some great paperwork and drawings from a trip Sellers Peltier made to Japan to look at how they made cat eyes. The drawings of what he observed at the factory drawn later on Hotel stationary are amazing. He must have had a near photographic memory. Wish I remembered the dates of the trip?

  7. We all like to learn but it is when speculation is worded in a factual way that problems can arise. I believe they were putting some nicely polished pontils on some handmade marbles under an inch, up to and maybe after the turn of the century. I am positive they were still doing it much later on large marbles and Sulphides.
  8. Next time your up late on a dark evening grab a four foot florescent light tube(I just can't call them a bulb) And walk under some high voltage lines with it in your hand. The ones with the four footed towers.

  19. NHA wouldn't have an issue here. Fused Cane Marble seems correct no matter if fused horizontal or vertical

  21. Very interesting. I think with enough study a seam may be located. More than likely in the clear glass.
