  1. seeing how that was almost a year ago post I know why Rich didn't answer the part about it being an old card.
  2. I know it is on my end, but only certain pics are not showing so I want to let comcast know what type are not loading. I can not get into my pics at my host either so I wandered which one you were using to see if they were similar types (of hosting sites) GOT THE ISSUE SOLVED!!!!!!
  3. Gnome, where are your pictures in this post hosted. For some reason they refuse to load in Chrome. They show in Firefox and IE but will not load in Chrome??? I really like Chrome so I hope to get it figured out.
  4. There is nothing nice about a full grown Opossum. From UC Davis Opossum carry diseases such as leptospirosis, tuberculosis, relapsing fever, tularemia, spotted fever, toxoplasmosis, coccidiosis, trichomoniasis, and Chagas disease. They may also be infested with fleas, ticks, mites, and lice. Opossum are hosts for cat and dog fleas, especially in urban environments. Opossums are not in Urban environments because they ran out of wild spaces. They live in Urban environments because they have learned to adapt and use humans for food shelter etc, Like the Coyote there are many more Opossums in North America than there were before urbanization of the country And I know how to use Google Mon There are many more of these videos
  5. I wonder if the person that presented it to you had it laying around for a long time before you received it.?? And if there were fees on that card they were definitely spelled out clearly at the time of purchase. Guess someone didn't read the paperwork. Can't blame that on American Express now can we! Can you tell I like American Express, they have always seemed more up front and clearer on their policies than any of the other major financial institutions IMO
  6. Guess someone should have paid attention when purchasing the card. I would never get a card that had monthly fees. None I have purchased ever did. Not one American Express Gift Card I could find last night had monthly fees. As I said earlier something seems out of whack. Maybe a real old card?? I know many cards had fees when they first started becoming popular, not just American Express.
  7. In town here lots of folks call them speed bumps whenever possible. They are nasty, get in garbage cans, steal the dog and cat food, dig up plants, get into attics to make a home and crap everywhere. They belong in the woods not in Urban environments, Some knuckleheads feed them. And they can tear up a pet pretty well if they have to. The don't always play possum. Saw one on a leash that must have weighed 30 lbs.
  8. is that the whole story Rich, I have a feeling we are not getting all the facts. Are there any fees for the use of the Card after purchase? The Card has NO FEES AFTER PURCHASE (including dormancy, service or other fees). Do the funds on the Card expire? No, the funds on the Card do not expire. If the funds do not expire, what is the "valid thru" date associated with the Card? The "valid thru" date on the front of the Gift Card or associated with the eGift Card is the date through which your physical plastic Gift Card or eGift Card card number may be used. This date is required to process transactions at merchants that request an expiration date. Even if the "valid thru" date associated with a Card has passed, its Available Balance remains unchanged and intact. In order to keep making purchases with your Available Balance after a Card's "valid thru" date has passed, please call 1-877-297-4438 for a free replacement I buy gift cards quite often including American Express. Never had a problem with any of them
  9. Come on Mon. scaring away GBs to keep parasites out of the pond? Parasites are natural to the ecosystem They come they go,. Leave the poor long legged birds alone. And invite the geese in for dinner
  10. Opossums = Stinky bald headed Rats with skin problems and a thousand sharp teeth.
  11. I am thinking this guy made a big sale at one time and keeps trying to make it happen again.
  12. Love those Great Blues!!!
  13. 1938 being the first year of the Owens Corning Fiberglass Co. that seems like a possibility. The pictures I saw that included the glass balls were, I believe, after WWII
  14. They used them much later than the 30s. It is how they transported glass to the factories that made fiberglass.
  15. Yes Winnie, I think these are just a later style with added color striping to a clear base . And more internal striping.
  16. Beautiful Marbles. I have a box of the earlier less finished style and it is a 20s type box. These appear to be improvements so I am guessing late 20s 30s?
  17. A Christmas Story! Die Hard, Home Alone.

  19. Tan and black suede inside smooth outside I think there were 6 or 8 panels. And I will never forget the little 19C in a circle stamped on the bag. Much like bottom row second in on the right
  20. Pretty sure that Ebay marble is new. The Sammies are being sold cheaply and in bulk. I am sure they are .scattered throughout the country in bags boxes and jars by now. Lots more of the new run marbles showing up in vintage groups out here since the prices have fallen into the basement.
