  1. That first picture makes me think Cairo Novelty. One of the better Cairo marbles.
  2. Not packaged by any company. Sold or passed off as old or original. Still going on today.
  3. I think they may be two Akros.
  4. The second and third pictures look Jabo.
  5. I received information this morning that long time friend and marble collector Howard (Hod) Powell of Parkersburg WV passed away. Howard was past President of the West Virginia Marble Collectors Club for several years. He was a marble collector, marbles historian, digger and marbles promoter. His joy was helping children and new collectors with anything marbles . He resigned a few years ago as WVMCC President due to health issues. He had a long hard fight with health problems. My condolences to his wife Julia and the family. Rest in peace Hod
  6. Alley. I have seen them look like this from rolling around in a creek for 50-75 years.
  7. Left is a Akro Milkie Oxblood. The price is at the bottom for these now. I have had 25 for sale at $5.00 each for over a year. I saw them at a show this month for $2.00 each and they never sold. Someday they will go back up ? Like Vitro Parrots about four years ago. They dropped to $20.00 each and I bought 15 at one show. Now they are back up to $50.00 $75.00 each.
  8. Alley or Ravenswood. At that size the best odds are with Alley.
  9. I think you have it, probably packaged by Imperial.

    Akro ?

Akro. These were found and dug at the Sistersville WV Alley site. But never made there, made by Akro. Alley never EVER made a patch marble. Rosenthal(jobber)was at Sistersville with Alley and long after Alley left. So this can be one way that Akro and other companies marbles ended up at Sistersville.
  11. Dirty Girl Scout. Some contamination from the marble machine rolls. Doubtful of grease, any grease would burn up fast.
