Does Anybody Please Have Some Marble Dislpay Cases?
mmuehlba replied to Rylee Burch's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
The rotating cabinets are just old Timex watch cabinets . I think there all gone as I have a few one I am redueing now and a small one I just did . takes a lot of time and good repair skills .Mike No there not all gone but I get mine off of Craigs list . colse to Milwaukee ??? I would sell one . will put in the for sale area . These cabinets were made not to be taken apark just throw out , all pop rivets I drill and retap for screws and what ever is needed Mike -
well if it works but only a little what if you send threw the ScRUBER more than once ?? need a lot more aboout this process . Mike Since i got no response to my original posting, i made improvements. Along with the $2 scrub there i now a $5 scrub. (in lots of 5 or more). This $5.00 treatment will remove light to medium scratches, small in size and depth chips, small on the surface sparkles. and pinpricks. This process only removes about 2 to 6 thousands of an inch in glass stock. (the average thickness of a humain hair about 3 thousands of an inch). Most will have no idea that the marble had been worked on. Let me know, Ronnie

I'd like to share an experience with you all about drinking and driving. As you well know, some of us have been known to "tipsy" during this time of the year. Well, it recently happened to me. A couple of nights ago, I was out for a few drinks with some friends and had a few too many beers and some rather nice claret. Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before ..........I took a bus home. I arrived home safely and without incident, which was a real surprise as I've never driven a bus before and am not sure where I got this one. Be careful. HAPPY NEW YEAR But on the other side just a happy new year and the best marble collecting to come . Mike

Hi well I would think it is a new marble. A lot of artist and for sure Scott made a few along with Mike Edmondson for sure Mike and Scott for sure tried oxblood cullet but was to dirty and left holes and other issues like on your marble and just hard to work with , they then went to old bricks as that worked good . Mike Edmondson did use a signature chip on some ? Then as far as oxblood Mike Petura mad his own . I think just to much white to be old also . but what ever this is a nice looking marble will look great in a collection . Mike here are the bricks that would have been used instead of cullet . more bricks here are some cullet bricks Mike Edmondson oxblood did some with cullet I just do not have any . these are from beat up bricks a few of Mike Petura he made his own oxblood when he made these for me look at the one with an M . now for a few from Scott might see some resemblance to your marble ?? this is what every one wants to copy ?? well what ever it is a very pretty marble Mike
