  1. If I remember right it was more profitable to call them exotics than dug marbles , they were very well kept and sold in little quantities but then ?? they started out as just dug marbles but I think they evolved since ??? Mike
  2. No mater what there worth I will keep mine as I had to grab most of mine out a 250 or 300 boxes I bought just to resell with out the big oxblood marbles . have any / many been listed on the bay lately ?? Mike
  3. As I remember and have forgot his name and I had one done and was at his house in Ohio , it was a hard polymer that he put on and then just put it in a 3 headed sphere machine and made round . He was very good at what he did as I saw a 2 inch clam he was working on , he would grind the glass down then air brush in the damage , when he ground down the glass he most of the time left the pontils so when grinding the area was saved . I had a 2 1/2 solid core done , looked great but when in hand you could feel it was not glass . I sold mine in Amana . The polymer was some kind of very hard aerospace stuff . Mike

  7. I got a pair right from the artist when I was at a bead and button show , got a lot of my marble trade beads at the button and bead shows . he was in states just to do the bead show in Milwaukee and just happen to brought two marbles , the only one so just had to have . Tried his web sight but nothing there now . Mike I guess it was good as he is very well named for his beads and he said he made a few only .

A few years ago on the boards (can not remember what one) there was some one giving away them as he had a lot , when I get some down time I think I will play with . and I must have been in the same battle as I also gave a few but not in the box or the A SIGNED DOCUMENT . may be some one could make one about the river bank in Tennessee . 14. Hi all I headed out to look at a few thousand marbles yesterday , all turned out to be cats and very common ,just passed as I tried to get pics before the 60 mile one way drive but they insisted they were very old so off we went . when there they turned out to be sellers on craiglist and the bay so I knew thew could have sent some pictures so that is why I did not even offer . Felt better just saying list then and heading out . A few miles away there was a small consignment store very thing looked like left over church rummage stuff till the cabinet with marbles , Yes I got a few and even listed one of the bay and might put up a few more but here is the one keeper for sure a nice onion skin lutz 7/8 in size . So look at the pics and the tag and let me know if I did right buying with the price at the high end of the tag as they just came in . when thinking about the rapid decision I made remember it would be a 100 mile trip to come back . the tag said they have been in the store since 7 7 11 almost 14 days ago . Mike
