Peltier Nlr Blue Panther

I am looking for information about Peltier Blue Panthers and Peltier Blue Pandas.

Anyone know about them? Is anything published about them?

Are pictures available?

that he sold a while back.

there isn't any aventurine in the black

It brought $300.00 + shipping..

I just found this one in the wild and wanted to make sure.

This one seems to have aventurine.

Someone told me a Panda may have translucent Black instead of opaque Black.

Maybe others will add information.

Yours looks like a pelt bruiser. Which is a peerless but the black is green in bright light. Panthers are the baby blue base w/ black ribbons, little to no avent. Pandas are dark blue cobalt base w/ white ribbons. Pandas are also way more prevelent than panthers. Be careful on the panthers as vacor made a similar one.

Thanks for your reply. This one has jet black ribbons on baby blue base in bright light. It also has two seams. Does that fit the peerless definition? Can light aventurine be seen in my pictures?

Help me, I am still learning on this one.

I believe a peerless does have 2 seems but they are hard to see as they are generally in the solid base color. How many ribbons does yours have?

Showing that other makes me lean more towards vacor. Have others look at it at next show. Keep it if is vacor as good examples to tell difference.

No to Canton. Yes to Amana. Increase in value cant say. Next to that bee it looks legit but this is one marble that is hard to tell sometimes even in hand.

First one, no its not a panther, looks like reg zebra. Second pic very much possible on the panda.

The closest I have are a few of these.

They're really twisted up...but have the

construction of a 4 or 5 ribboned Rainbo.

NLR.......eh ??? I just look for the various Dark Blue/Gray bases.

Nice one Rick, i know those types date at least in the early 40's, could have been made earlier. The glass looks older than most Rainbo's, having them in hand they look like later NLR's and did come in shooter size.

Here is one blue base with white ribbons.Not perfectly formed,probably why I hadn't noticed it until now.Appears to be NLR ,it's opaque,and I have seen that shear mark before on other NLR.But who knows? Size is 27/32" Does it have a name?

Interesting marbles, glad I found this thread. Posted these earlier and they're similar to some of the other blue and white marbles shown later in this post. Haven't heard of a blue panther but would think that name is better suited for the blue/black types pictured earlier in the post.
