MC Marbles
Marbles34, Hard to tell for sure from the pics. I do see hand gathered slags in there. Some could be transitionals. I do not see Navarre as such. There is a good chance on some being M F Christensen. They seem to be good sizes. You did well in any case.
lstmmrbls
Could be some melted pontil transitionals. Let us know.

I LOVE MARBLES
Hello everyone! I won these two lots on ebay last night and was just wondering if you guys think they are what I think they are? I believe they are both lots of Navarre transitionals!?!?!?!? I have my fingers crossed! Auction 1 Auction 2 Hi Chris, They may be Navarre or they may be transitionals, but they are not both. Navarre marbles are handmade all the way! Transitional marbles are hand-gathered and machine rounded! Hope some of those have a melted pontil, pic too blurry to tell. This one is 7/8" and mint, nice odd color too!
marbles34
Thanks everyone for the help! I can't wait until the end of the week! I will take some pics when they come in and let you know what they are. If you read the descriptions in both auctions it says something about a rough spot where the swirl ends?? Hopefully a pontil! akronmarbles
Uranium glass horizontal swirl....it definitely glows. I haven't encountered another example. Did find pieces of uranium glass at Barberton. Size is about 1.5" I think.
marbles34
Well I got the two lots in the mail today that I bought off ebay and much to my suprise they are ALL melted pontil transitionals!!!!! I believe they are all Navarre? The amber three are all around an inch and the rest are around 3/4. The one amber one had some annealing fractures but is still a beautiful marble! Thought I would share them with you!
