VTAndrea
It is cool, but I've never seen so many bubbles in a snake or popeye. Is this significant? Zaboo?
lstmmrbls
The tiny bubbles like that are Usually a sign of torch work
Alan
It looks absolutely torched to me. Especially in the 4th pic.
mon
If it's real...lol Then this one's torched with all the tiny bubbles? http://www.ebay.com/...#ht_1685wt_1243 For the sake of time, I used this auction as opposed to taking and posting pics of my snakes/augers with tiny bubbles. Steph
No comment on bubbles but my first thought when I saw the marble was Chinese handmade.
lstmmrbls
Notice how the bubbles are evenly dispersed in Zaboos marble. Not following a band of color. Also notice the ends of the color bands on the bottom of the first pic of the torched marble
RunnersDad
Something looks really off about it. Couldn't confirm one way or another as to weather or not it has been torched, but it looks messed with in some way.
mon
Thanks for pointing out this reason for voting torched! I see the bubbles following the color and it does look odd. I got trapped on that pole shot.....it looked cool.
smitty
I'm wondering if he uploaded the wrong pic, that contemp marble in the pic has at least 5 colors and is obviously new, especially to someone that has sold hundreds of marbles. In the description, he only describes a yellow green popeye, doesn't even mention the lavender and blue.
Alan
That piece isn't the only torched marble being sold by that seller.
RunnersDad
The "7-color Corkscrew" looks terrible. Doesn't even come close to passing as an Akro.
smitty
It's at $97 now, so it must be an Akro! ( just kidding, someone is going to get burned)
