Bocci
It's great to see Dave Mc Cullough keep on keeping on. And what I have seen from Sammy's Mountain Marbles (please see below), he ain't missed a beat. Check out the nice LUTZ egg by SAM and DAVE. Can't seem to get a good picture of this but in hand it sure is SWEET. Nice FAT lutz swirl. SAMMY's MOUNTAIN MARBLES (these are all 5/8" in diamemter) Check out the Miller looking Christmas tree (bottom / right just above). NICE POUCH. SIGNED and DATED. FIRST EDITION BOX SET. SIGNED AND DATED. BOX OPENED. WITH NINE SWEET SWIRLS. MORE MOUNTAIN MARBLES. WILD and CRAZY SWIRLS. CLOSE-UPS. SAM & DAVE got my VOTE!
sissydear
Dave and Sammy are doing great! Here's the Christmas run - the part that I kept. This Sammy adding striping glass. These are the marbles i bought a poly bag of them, sorted the ones I wanted to keep, and divided the rest between 3 other boxes like this one and sent them to three friends who will love them. I'm going back in March to do the last of the Marble Buddys run that we have already paid for.
lstmmrbls
Great, now we have 5/8" marbles being made with colors that resemble vintage marbles. Sorry I still see no need for that. Why not make them different? Go ahead and slam me for feeling that way but it makes me sick to my stomach!
sissydear
Since when did vintage marble factorys use Kugler rods for striping glass? No resemblance.
sissydear
You put the base glass in, you add striping glass (Kugler rods) and you never know what you're going to get. Don't you think if anybody could duplicate on purpose, they would have done it for the last 60 years?
Steph
That first one just begs for a "goose that lays the golden egg" comment .... too bad my head is flu-ish and I can't think of a good one.
sissydear
Those eggs are beautiful. I kept mine whereas before all eggs and footballs went into the trash. I also shared eggs and footballs with friends.

clydetul62
I like the peewees. For something small that pack a big color punch.

Bocci
These are my favorite two w/ the lutz egg. Galen are these (vintage looking) ones you are talking about? This one is my favorite.
lstmmrbls
I thought the reddish and blue on the white base looked more vintage than those.

FISHSLAYERMARRBLEGRIFF
Id like to try new method, and materials on the 3/4 marbles. They are a little more "forgiving",when introducing, extra glass in the stream. FAT GOLD ON A 3/4,,,,SLOBBER SLOBBER!!!!!!!
