I wrote and asked the seller. :)

Reply was "Usine de fabrication de Billes (jeu pour enfants)

Cordialement."

Yup, you were right! ;) (I have no idea!)

I just plugged in the reply on an online french translation service:

French: "Usine de fabrication de Billes (jeu pour enfants) Cordialement."

English translation: "Machines manufacture of Marbles (game for children) Cordially."

OK, got the French to English dictionary up.

"usine de fabrication de Billes" means manufacture of ball, ball points, whatever...

"jeu pour enfants" means child's play or something pretty close to it

So, according to the rough job I do with dictionary translating, you really were right!

Cordialement,

Marlene (Great minds run together, right, chucks_mibs?)

Yeah, I ran it through Google translate too. Came up with the same thing. Also Googled the factory name, etc. and found a PDF article somewhere that talked about it. It all seemed to lead back to the real deal. Maybe the clay marbles we discussed in another thread awhile back?
