marbleseeker Posted February 3, 2013 Report Share Posted February 3, 2013 I had a similar idea using a coffee table. Remove the top and build a frame to hold the glass. Using furniture grade 1x4 so that you could install some lighting or just have a good overhead lamp from the ceiling. Stain the new top to match the base. Then line the base with wood planks or several square pieces drilled out to hold the marbles in place. But my imagination is often more energized than my body so I never made it.
