bermar
from the CA tray. 5/8". If it's a Diaper Fold, let me hear the poetry. Thanks, again. Burt
Steph
hehe ... no poetry That looks strange to me. I'd be tempted to think "remelt" but I wouldn't panic unless I heard that from Galen. Maybe it got hung up on the rollers? From what I understand, the term "Diaper Fold" has fallen out of vogue. I still like the term but I don't see one there. A marble would need a single fairly neat seam for me to want to call it a Diaper Fold. And a nice smooth looping action visible from the side. . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . .. . . .(marble photos from Manddrakes' auctions)
bermar
Thank You, Steph. Maybe we will hear from Galen or others. Burt
1DanS
Never really did get the diaper fold thing. I do see the seam and the turkey head (2nd pic, at the top, laying sideways). The colors are right on. I'd give it yes. thanks
Al Oregon
Here's Galen's picture from 2007 of CA's with "tongues", which I think are the diaper folds.
Steph
Hey, guys, I'm right on this one! The Mandrake marble I posted shows a diaper fold. Here is Alan's diaperfold diagram: The seam is the top of the diaper and the little baby legs come out of the holes on the side.
lstmmrbls
Odd CAC Burt, does have a little look of a remelt but that is not that uncommon in CACs
