Steph
Hi. Welcome. Since these are handmades, which I'm still fuzzy about, I'm going to move the thread to the main chat section because I think more people might see it there.

greg11
Lol , a settlement which includes marbles, at least he/she didn't give up the good stuff. There is zero value in these marbles. I don't think you could get 20 bucks for the group on eBay.
budwas
I still like the one in the first picture, left side. It's a great window sill marble.

Killermarbles
Actually while these marbles are basically worthless I think as a group they would bring more than 20.00 on eBay. The red, white and blue one is very eye catching. That with the fact that a fool and his money are soon parted means there will be bidders
budwas
Sometimes I buy things just because I like them, I also like casinos and cold beer! Now I want them all!
Killermarbles
Definitely buy what you like and enjoy them. I saw they are listed on eBay

Killermarbles
The ebay sellers name is "boimeddoctor" and they all all sold as a group heck of a deal 600.00 like I said a fool and his money are soon parted LOL
BobBlock
Wow, guess I have to break out my early 1980s contemporaries. I had them stored away and it looks like the market finally caught up to them.
BobBlock
And the blue one up there bears the telltale marks of being hit with a countersink tool. I forget who was doing that back in the 80s and early 90s to make them look old, someone in Virginia or Tennessee I think. Kentucky maybe.

1313
definitely contemporary. look like unsigned Gibson marbles from the 80s. actually these type Gibson marbles sold for bigger money back in the day. Brownie {Robert Brown} used to sell them allover ohio and west Virginia. they made way to collections as Vintage marbles. maybe the first reproduction antique marbles? some of the oldtimers know the complete story.......just a piece of history fyi
