You persuaded me to look into Alley Agate today. I am thinking they  may have made some of the wildest swirls ive seen yet. I like Lawrence Alley swirl work. Then i found about the Marble King connection that i did not know. Thanks. All apreciated.

I also remember my grandfather reffering to marbles as alleys. Im not sure in general or actually referring to the company.

I'd guess in general.

It is a term that was used for marbles.  And probably not very many people knew that they were actually made by someone named Alley.  I can't remember Mr. Alley's marble packages being branded with the company name.

I think the marble above is a Jabo. 

L.E. Alley never put his name or his company name's on any packaged marbles. He did not think that he was anyone special. Not enough to have his name on a retail package.
